chances are your well water isn't a well tapped into the city water ha

if it were chlorinated, the only thing that you would want to dechlorinate for is if you are about to ferment with it. you wouldnt want to trap the chlorine gas is all.

Questions guys I'm making my tea and for some reason all the stuff keeps falling to the bottom I stir about every 20 min and have 2 small air stones on one pump making only 1 gallon. Will the good stuff just dilute into the water and out the stuff at the bottom or do I need to get as much of it to dissolve as possible?

guano stuff? using pantyhose or dress socks?

this is the point of vortex brewers, prevents settling of sediments which prevents the stuff that has settled from putrifying.

i've also found that using a stir plate and 4" stir bar is pretty good at picking up sediments. you can turn a 5 gal pail with a 4"inch stir bar. gotta support the pail from crushing the stir plate though.

you should have it in a paint strainer bag,or nylon suspended in the water.if you had a big enough pump you could put your compost, ewc etc directly in the water. I don't think your pump is big enough for that.fuck I can't remember the dudes website but he goes by microbeman.he's got some good drawings and insight.
I was going to make a vortex, picked up a big pump but couldn't source a cone shaped container in time.so I built a bubble brewer instead, did 10 gallons a week and had the best grow to date.it's true, always learning.

I don't think it will hurt at all,you just won't be getting as much"bang for your buck".the air from your pump is agitating the water breaking healthy "bugs"from your ewc, etc.with the pump you're using its a little small.help it out by just stringing your bag of ewc above the stones so those bubbles are going directly into it/through it next time.

yea if you brewed out of a bag it'll let you extract the water soluble nutrients and pretty much nothing else. which is a good thing.

if you are just mixing it like chocolate milk you'll have alot of sediments that would just get poured on top of your soil i imagine. you can mix the spent tea bag into your future soil mixes and gather the slow release nutrients that didnt come out during brew

I'm stoned right now and that sounds time consuming and messy lolz.with those measurements of ingredients you used, split between plants,I would think you'd be alright.
Theres only one plants and straining would be easy only have 1 gallon no trouble at all. Also is my tea supposed to be really really really dark?

go ahead and strain it.i might reconsider pouring a whole gallon on a 7gallon pot you said?this is only my opinion, maybe a more experienced brewer can step in.I used a gallon every week on my plants that were each in roughly 35 gallons of soil.I like the "less is more" approach.

if your tea is made correctly and the "bugs"are consuming all the molasses, you should be fine.but you also should go by what your other products call for the guano, kelp(once again,I go less than what they recommend)
a properly made tea shouldn't burn
