Looks great bro. My Female Seeds Lemon Kush has the nicest structure in my veg room right now. Classic kush structure. I took 5 clones of her the other day to keep her around in case she turns out great. Keep the posts coming. Take care.
Thanks man. I checked out your thread, your ladies are looking quite sexy. I love the idea of organics, and will always stick with them. Based on your results, I'm going to give them teas a go on my next run. Keep up the good work, my friend.

I ordered 4 seeds from Herbies for like $12, but my order is caught up in Chicago. Oh well in 21 days I'll get them to re-send. Looks great man, I'm a fan of the Kushes. Sorry to hear about the TMV, where I live it's actually a problem sometimes outside in the summer from all the damn tobacco farms around. I've smoked newports almost all my life, and it still pi$$es me off to no extent when it shows up outside on a plant somehow. Best of luck bro, keep her going she should be ok. Peace out.
Yeah, my luck that it would happen on my first attempt. You live and you learn, I suppose. Keep me updated when you get your beans, I'd like to see how they turn out.

Day 42. She's coming along well, I just finished her LST yesterday. She's tied down as far as she can go. Not sure if it's going to become a problem, but earlier today I spotted a red gnat-like fly on one of the fan leaves. Then I saw tiny white pearl-like balls on a few of the fan leaf stems. I removed them, but they look like eggs to me. Does anyone know what these are? Im not too concerned, as I see no other evidence of pests, but I suppose only time will tell.

Today was her final day of vegging. I feel that the stretch to come will fill her out to my liking. As far as nutrients go, I will be using indonesian bat guano as an ammendment to the plant tone that is already in the soil. Words cannot explain my excitement. Growing cannabis is so awesome.. I don't know why I didn't start doing this years ago. I guess I was too stoned to realize it was possible :eyesmoke:

You could very easily make a guano tea. Get a 5 gallon bucket. A simple fish tank air pump. An air stone or two. A paint strainer. EWC. Nice local bagged compost. Mollasses. You are all set. Mix a half cup of the compost with a half cup of the EWC. Add in your guano. Put into paint strainer. Add 2 gallons of water to bucket. Hang the paint strainer above the air stones. Turn the pump on. Add 2-3 tsp of mollasses. In 24-36 hours you are set. I dilute my teas with 3 parts water to 1 part tea. Watch the explosion of growth take place. You can get crazier with it down the line.

So due to some recent EPA bullshit, my local hydro store had to pull the indonesian bat guano from the shelves. Too much phosphorous or something. I had to go with the jamaican bat guano instead. The front of the bag says it has an npk ratio of 0-10-0. but I read somewhere that its actually 1-10-0.2.. I already have quite a bit of nitrogen in my soil, which is why I was going to go with the indo. So basically, the bag says 0-10-0, do I still need to be worried about N burn?

It is day 1 of flower. Nothing much different, but I noticed these little nubs that will soon be preflowers a few days ago. I also wanted to add an updated picture of my setup. the first one does it no justice. the walls are lined with mylar, those bulbs you see are 3 42w 2700k, and 1 40w 6500k. I will be using these throughout the whole grow. I have an oscillating fan, because I dont have many options for ventilation besides passive under the cracks of the door. A bit later, I will be setting up an exaust fan in the middle of the right wall (its a wooden board seperating the rest of the closet), with a DIY carbon filter for when shit gets stinky. Anyways, let me know what you guys think, and feel free to make suggestions because this is as complex as my setup is going to be for the next few grows.

Phosphorous deficiency, rearing its ugly head. I'm going to try watering with a light guano solution later, hopefully that will fix this.

Picked up some Brer Rabbit unsulfered molasses from Fred Meyer. Mixed a bit into the guano tea I fed her. I think I'm going to start feeding her molasses regularly..:weed:

So I top dressed about 2 TB of bat guano, and its not being absorbed yet. She's starting to show signs of a P deficiency again. I already watered her yesterday, so I'm going to try a foliar feed of some guano tea tonight.

For some reason, I didn't think the foliar spray would work. Call me a noob, but I just couldnt wrap my head around it. I mean, where in nature are plants foliar sprayed with nutes? I certainly don't know. Well, needless to say, the foliar spray worked like a charm. Anyways, the buds haven't started forming yet, but preflowers are popping up at almost every node. Here she is.

It's day 9 of flower. There's preflowers everywhere. The other day, I spotted some N deficiency, so I top dressed one TB of my espoma plant tone (5-3-3) . The bat guano doesnt seem to be broken down yet, so I had to give her another foliar spray, just to hold her off until it has. Stretch is minimal, but she's still getting quite massive. It looks like I'll have 10 colas. I've also been needing to water her more frequently, every two days or so. I'm sure she's rootbound as fuck. Do you guys think I'll need to transplant? I really don't want to, but it seems I might have to...

Day 11 flower. I repotted her yesterday, from her 10" to a 12". It didn't seem to stress her any, woke up this morning to see her 1cm from growing into the light. I feel like she's going to outgrow my vert space, I only have about an inch left I can move the lights up. Time to tie this hoe down a bit more.

So I tied her down, around the pot, and there were still 3 tops sticking up from the middle. The branches that are super thin, I experimented with some supercropping. I pinched them and bent them over. I figured it would be best do do these things now, while she's still 'vegging' so to speak. If I fucked up, worst case scenario, I lose 3 thin ass tops that wont probably pack on much weight anyways. Tell me what you guys think.

Lookin like a happy bush you got there! Keep it comin.

I wouldn't recommend re-potting next time. Your growth will be stunted, and although the plant may get a little bigger than it would have been, the buds will most likely be smaller as a result. I learned that the hard way as well. I kept a few in the small pots and alas, smaller plants but bigger buds (which yielded more).

Good call on tying her down. I am not sold on super-cropping yet, but I have only experimented lightly. Let us know what you think!

Keep it up sir!

The only reason I repotted her is because I was needing to water every two days. I was afraid she would be severely rootbound by mid flower. The repotting didn't stunt her or stress her though, I guess I'm good at it. But yeah, thanks for the feedback, I'll let you know how the supercropping goes. :peace:

I forget .. I think it's day 13 flower. The buds have sarted forming, and I spotted a few nads at a node here and there. Plucked them off. Gotta keep a close eye on her. I probably overstressed her with the supercropping this late. Oh well. we'll see what happens, I wont mind getting a few seeds if she does continue to herm out.
