I have two phenos, 1 shorter thicker indica leaner and 1 that looks and sounds like yours, she is a big girl and grows like wild. The short one has the orange smell when you rub stem but the big girl does not.

Well my little tangerine power is one of the best and strongest smelling plants I've grown. A beautiful mix of strong sweet orange and tropical punch drink but more orangeish.

I used to work at a gum factory that made Bubblicious brand bubble gum and the smell reminds me of the Paradise Punch flavor. If you didn't find a nice tangie tang pow you just didn't run enough beans, lol.


My larger tang pow has no orange to her but more of a lime wd40 smell, not digging it really. My male had the same orange smell in veg that my dank female has so I'm hoping to find in the f2s a large pheno like I got but with a smell/hopefully flavor of my little tang pow.

tang pow #3 taller sativa leaner, not so dank lime wd40 smell but ton of buds, lol, hoping to find a better version in f2s, if I can find on that has #1s smell/frost and #3 growth then I'll work to stabilize that pheno.

Paradise Punch Bubblicious was my fav.
I would be in heaven if I found a pheno that had these terps. Seems the last yr or so the only thing I've been finding are lemon cleanser, "cookies" and the typical chem terps. I suppose that's due to running to many plants of the same or similar genetics.
I really gotta start mixing it up again. I miss the Juicy Fruit strains too.

Have you had any finished buds?
Just wondering if the smell comes through in the flavor?

She is only 1 month and 2 weeks into 12/12 so I'll have at least 3 more weeks till she gets chopped but I'm hoping she taste like she smells honestly, and if she does I'll be working her and her f2 seeds. I'd love it! I'll report back when it's finished and I have smoked some.

I do have f2s cooking and I still got 22 tangerine powers left so I'll be able to lock down something good. I would like to f3 or f4 some frosty orange punch but we'll see.

I also have 1 grapes 13 that's been hit by the tang pow male and I have some frozen tang pow pollen that will hit my 2 2nd run clones of grapes 13 in a couple of weeks.

I'm hoping to find something interesting in those as well and take those to f3 or f4

Honestly I had given up on the tang pows about 2 weeks ago because the orange punch's smell was a weird orange chemical cleaner smell but not very pleasant and then about a week ago I was watering it and caught a whiff and was like, "wtf?", then I sat there and sniffed that girl for like 10 minutes straight. All I have to do is pull her out of the tent and the whole room is straight sour orange tropical punch funk.

If it don't taste fantastic I'm gonna be pissed!

Funny you named the only two strains I have ever run with actual orange terps.

Just harvested the second round of my Tangerine Power, this time I used Teas every other feeding and I got a huge difference in sweetness. The overall look is not as good, but the smell and flavor is out of this world. I am going to be posting a video smoke report here in the next few weeks!

If you are running the Tangerine Power I would suggest you add some Teas to your regime, it made a big difference when used in combination with Heavy 16 for me
