Has anyone grown Orange Hill Special from Dutch Passion? Has anyone tried the feminized seeds ? I'm looking for a strain that smells like an orange peel.

I am at the moment because I couldn't get my hands on Sin City Tangerine Power fems anymore. At about 4 1/2 weeks with no orange peel smell whatsoever.

Hmmm that sucks, What do they smell like instead?
Just smells like a typical plant in flower at 4.5 weeks....sadly

I think these strain names with; oranges, pineapples, grapes, strawberries, mangos, bananas, limes, lemons....did I leave out any? Are getting out of hand, for the most part all these strains essentially smell the same. The only strain that truly matched its name for me is super lemon haze, actually smells like lemon pledge.

I will say that the OHS is growing nice and vigorous though, good job by Dutch Passion. The other time I ran their gear was the Auto Blueberry which was hella dank, dusted in sugar.

I've actually smoked some super good tasting tangerine dream by barney's farm. I loved the taste but the high wasn't all that. I'm not sure how many beans the guy had to pop or if it was a clone but it was TD by the farm. I don't think I'll be chasing that one though. LOL.

I know what you are talking about concerning the strain names, I think ive grown everything with "cherry" in the name, and not once did any of them smell like cherries. By The only pant that I've ad that lived up to the smell/flavor hype was c99, which rally does have a thick, heavy, sweet pineapple aroma.

Damn my bad, how could I leave out cherries? So i'm assuming Cherry Pie smells like, well, green plant matter while in bloom lol?

And if I get lucky I might get the pheno that smells like hot cherry pie crust coming right out of the oven? Sales hype and hyperbole with strain names for sure.

Cherry Pie does kinda taste like cherries and crust ive tasted it before but its so hard to find a legit clone of it unless your in cali.

That's exactly what I thought when I grew out cherry bomb ibl seeds. It was stated that they had an amazing cherry taste and aroma. This is true, if your definition of cherry aroma means it smells like a burned rubber tire covered in vicks menthol vapor rub.

Right? Matter of fact I did grow some Cherry OG from Emerald Triangle once and it was the most earthy, woodsy zero bag appeal stuff I churned out.

But back on topic, I think for Yodaweed u need to look at some smaller breeders who have some Orange Crush, or try to find some clones from dispensary.

The only clones I have found are Cali-O apparently orange strains aren't big in Colorado? The grower said their Cali-O kinda smells like oranges but when I said orange crush he recommended I buy a pack of citrix and pheno hunt.

Good luck, OC is pretty hard to find, at least here in Michigan. There is a dispensary that has it but will not come off of it. I bought a pack of ten reg's of dutch passions orange bud and so far all of them even the males smell exactly like orange peels and have a euphoric up lifting high that will give the munchies something fierce!
I kept a mother of the Orange bud and I am doing DWC and outdoor grow with it this year

I've been looking for a good cut of cherry pie forever. I've heard the clinic sometimes lets cuts of theirs go and theirs is bomb imo.

As far as orange goes.. Check out "Dutch royal orange" at Marimeds. They offer cuts of it sometimes and its got a really good orange peel taste. Goes really well with blunts and joints. I've been hoping to get a cut of it but haven't seen it recently. Best of luck.

We need to get someone with a nice orange peel cut to send it around.
Try Cali Orange aka California Orange

here is a description (not mine): California Orange Bud cannabis is a strain with a great sweet orange smell and an extra sweet flavor. This well-known strain originally from California was introduced in Holland in the 1980's and developed perfectly for greenhouse and indoor growers. This is a strain that features a lot of power in both flavor and performance.

And you can get it in seed form

Also Gage Green Genetics has a strain called Orange Juice
(California Orange x OG Kush) x Joseph OG

The bursts of orange and citrus fuel bring a new dimension to the Joseph line-up. Expect a completely crystal-coated selection with increased yield and tight calyx formation. Her high resin and attractive buds will surely bring tasty delight for those seeking an elevated journey.

Nah I wouldn't bother with Barney's Farm, TD won the Cannabis cup but there are the conspiracy theorist that say the big seed banks buy their wins. I don't believe in conspiracies as they seem like people just trying to bring down their competition. I ran Tangerine Dream and Acapulco Gold from BF and most beans would not germ and then the AG hermied on me. I still have beans from both but I will save them for another day.

I was gifted a few grams of the clone only orange crush and it has a citrus/dank smell and it is one hell of a sativa being as it is (California Orange x BlueBerry)
