I never measured the height, but I found a pic with a 6' ladder next to it, so it looks to be about 6'6" tall.

I've run a lot of dehumidifiers, they can be expensive electricity-wise. I'm still trying to figure out how to do a floor in a fully sealed greenhouse (other than pouring a slab) that would be enough of a moisture barrier that a dehumidifier wouldn't be fighting a constant moisture source.

As far as the venerable Farmer's Almanac... I have to wonder how their formidable history of weather can account for the erratic nature of climate change in terms of future projections?

Hey @Humanrob glad to see you pursuing the Idea of a sealed GH. For someone who prefers to grow sativa doms like we do I believe it's imperative. I used 1' square concrete pavers over a sand base for my floor and they work well. My cost to run a 80 pint dehuey was about $40 a month, minimal cost to insure Oct. Nov. finishing times. I was able to keep the humidity below 50% during these months.

$40 a month is doable for a 2-3 months. I thought it would be higher. Thank you for the info slow drawl.

Just to be clear -- there is no one amount that it costs. It depends on how new/efficient the dehumidifier is, how big the space is, how well its sealed and/or insulated, and things like how many plants are in there (if you have lots of plants in large fabric pots, they are going to put off large amounts of moisture, especially right after you water).

True, there are a number of variables to consider for my own grow. I thought it would be more $$ to run a dehumidifier in a sealed room. I'm pricing materials for my outdoor cover.

Thank you

I know I've been talking about a greenhouse for a couple of years, but we have so many projects in the queue that this summer a greenhouse isn't going to make the cut. This year I'm going to try light deprivation (just using a hoop house), next year I hope the greenhouse makes it to the top of the list. I'll keep in mind the pavers, we've gotten pretty good at spreading/tamping/leveling the gravel and laying those out.

Hello , picture another shows blue snowdog x mastodon, doing lst to have the grow out sideways, maybe easier to scrog. Going to put up a hoop house over them. Hell Fire OG will be light depped in my garden shed, hopefully by first week of sept they finish. Also going to light dep blue dream, I am going to see if 4 pants will fit.

I look forward to seeing their progress! :)

Edit: just read my last post (from a couple of months ago), and for the record I'm not even doing light dep this year. All the big plans did not materialize. We have a crop going out in the open, we'll see what happens.

update: working on getting a hoop house built. going to cover it with light weight row cover, to keep bugs out.
need to order film for covering the hoop house, need a dehumidifier for this year for sure.

just a couple of pic.
need to build my scrog soon.
edit:
The plants in pots are going to be moved closer to the light dep shed.

Unable to tuck under screen, should I tie down plants the best I can?
Tying down can work -- they're more expensive than string but I find that soft rubber covered wire works. This year I'm just super-cropping. Only one branch that I bent down has "unbent" itself, most have stayed down. I'm going to need to do at least one more big wave of super-cropping for the secondary set of branches that stretched once the first set was lower.

This is a mastodon, expecting it to start flowering end of month.
Curious when the snowdog x mastodon will flower? if the sun will stay out long enough.
All my plants are in pre-flowering mode.
unable to second screen, may just do something like super crop . Getting plastic film for the hoop early next month.

side note:
Picture of my melon pile devouring an amended compost pile covered in plastic
Soaker hose, works really nice under plastic.

Your good stuff looks good. Yikes on the other. Lots of rot down here in NW Florida. It rained just about every day this summer. Was a rough year. My Ass Cheese {donkey kong X cindy's blue cheese} rotted less than most.
