Yes, the room is painted beige. 420, what do you think about gettin reflectors? I'm headed to wal-mart now to get s few things and I'm gonna put more lights on the side of the plants.

Personally i just use my white walls behind my CFL's i have never made a CFL reflector and i don't see their benefits.... At most its just going to direct heat towards your plants. I mean if you have your walls lined with mylar or white paint yea, it should help a little, but a reflector for a 27 or 42 watt bulb? i mean come on thats not gonna be worth the time you put into making it...... If you look back to what i said my last post, with CFL's the light intensity drops off drastically when the bulbs are more than an inch away for your plant. So instead of taking time to make (i assume) a soda can reflector, just pick up a couple more light bulbs and you will have a much better end result.

Thanks 420, i just got done installing 5 more bulbs. I put 3 bulbs on the left plant, two soft whites and one daylight. On the other plant i put one of each. Is this better?

Edit: all of the new bulbs are 26w

yea, side lighting with CFL's make all the difference, trust me in a week or 2 they are gonna be a couple of bushes.

Man I wish more people that came to this site were like you, you listen and actually put into action the advice given to you. You my friend are a great addition to this community. Best of luck with the rest of your grow, and remember this is all a learning process, no one is an expert, just keep learning and you will be doing this stuff like its second nature soon.

I like the new lighting setup. It looks like all the bulbs are in a good position and you got some good side lighting going.

I believe you have enough light now to flower, though more is always better. If you want to take a look at my girl with around 250w of lights check out my journal.

I wanted to answer one of your earlier quesitons about N-P-K amounts. For veg you wnat higher N so something like 15-5-5 or 20-10-10 or w/e is good. For flowering you want a LOT of P. I use a 10-50-10 though most people use around 10-30-10. Also keep in mind the first 2 weeks or so of flowering should still be treated as veg state since it goes through a huge growth spurt.

Have you looked in to adding molasses to your water? Doesnt hurt and supposedly adds more sugar available for your plant to absorb and store in the buds.

As for reflection if you dont want to paint your room think about stapling up some white printer paper or white trash bags. Every little bit helps.

Do you plan on taking any clones? If you do look in to it soon and o it before it's too late! (I guess 'too late' is farther dow the road but the longer in to flowering the less successful your clone attempts will be)

Well that was long winded! Good luck and happy gorwing
