Opinions on 50x50x79 Tent and Which Group Of LED Lights Are Best?

Hi,
Greenhouse guy back here for an opinion on my most recent purchase. I'm using it for clones (beginning in January) and teens until they can go into the greenhouse in March 2017.
I had problems with heat venting trying to cool the greenhouse, and I had to cut the gable material out (but it's replaceable after a fashion). So I'm hoping someone has a link to the LED lighting group I need for vegging. Thanks

Would any of these type of lights going to work?

I was hoping there was a bank of lights like there are for T-5's.
I'd use any lights that ran cool and I didn't need a 6" blower to vent.
A reviewer on amazon said this booth required an 8" blower minimum using hot lights.

If you're looking for a cheap alternative that isn't going to shit out on you and is actually made of quality parts, you could go with ViparSpectra. My current run was under a single 450 until like, 2 weeks ago. You can see how they grow in my journal if you want.

Does it get humid in a greenhouse? Because you shouldn't run any LEDs in an area congested with significant moisture.

Hi,
No, it's not a greenhouse I'm using the LED in, it's a 50x50x79" grow booth inside my garage. I'm vegging until it's time to put them outside in the greenhouse. It's looking like a NextLight Mini would be the fit, but I'll look at ViparSpectra too, and thanks!

I use 2 450s in a 2x5 area. I would think two 450s should fill a 4'2x4'2 area without issue. 3 at most. And you can daisy chain them.

Nice colas. I'm wondering if they make a LED just for vegging? That's the GrowBooth's job, to keep plants growing and awake on an 18-hr. light and 6-hr. pitch dark schedule, until they go outside into the greenhouse.

Why would you want want just for vegging? These have a veg and bloom switch. Both on at the same time will just be full spectrum.

You're right, I should get both veg and bloom.

"The 450's footprint is about 3.5x3.5 with a 2.5x2.5 core. 2 should do it. I'd run them at 12-18 inches from the canopy."
Cool. Thanks and thanks HGL. Very neighborly of you.

From what I have been reading last 2 hours build a COB because it looks easy as sheet and cost is minimal unless you get suckered into a complete DIY kit. If not try the light that ODG suggested up there.

Oh, by the way, for reference, those plants were only veg'd for 3 weeks, seedling stage included. So they definitely work, if you ever choose to flower with them as well.

Good point. If you're an electrician, COBs are going to become industry standard eventually, in my opinion, just due to efficiency and power for that efficiency. Otherwise, if you aren't electronically inclined, as I am not, go with your original idea.
