Opinion on botanicare nutes?

the Organicare line-two products one for grow one for bloom are both a slow dissolve pellet, composted poop, calcium ,etc.

It is not immediately available with one watering. I see crumbles on the top soil occasionally 2 weeks after applications.

I only toss in the fert and rake it under when applying. I never used their "grow" crumbles in veg.

I'm not skipping any part of that. I'm just going to try to use their "grow " formula in flower instead of their bloom formula.
my crystal ball tells me I'm going to end up feeding them grow in veg and bloom in flower, so really @michganmedgrower
inspired me to check out their grow line once again, and use it in grow as directed, skipping the fish powder and foliar feeding.

follow directions on the bag, both grow and veg are fine. I grow in five gallon pails of only pro mix, no other additives in flower, and the instructions work out perfectly every time. Sometimes I water days later sometimes at application depending on need. They all get ferts on the same day on a schedule biweekly.

Glad I'm following along here.

I start feeding seedlings when they go to the one gallon bag, roots twirled in the cup about 6 inches tall and begging for food.
a couple bloom crumbles has shown much improvement and I use my fish powder(rip).

I think I poured Pure on top of already adequately fed soil and tipped the hat. every time I added anything to my mix cept fish powder.

I got a few years practicing the taper. The taste has never been off even when pushed as long as only organicare was used but the waste concerned me a little, now I'm seeing an eyeball with this stuff is likely fine. I skip the last app is all I do

ok,if im following,in the past youve fed biweekly with a couple oz of dry bloom? im assuming that gets watered in and is available immediately? now youre going to skip that and go straight veg/bloom powder right in your promix?sorry ,im preparing myself to move indoors and am looking for something simple.i build my own soil outdoors so im trying to break away from that on my first indoor.i dont want any additional problems(pests) so im leaning towards just the promix like you do but am worried about lack of nutes, deficiencies, then winding up with 20 bottles of unnecessary nutes on the shelf

You can simplify by just using a 1 part balanced bottled or powdered fertilizer.

I use pure Blend Pro Grow. I have bloom but never really need it. The ratio is mild.

Dyna Grow foliage pro works well in many pro mix grows. And jacks classic or some others and combinations seems to work well too.

Just adding this in case I hear you right and experimenting with unknown amounts of dry ferts pre mixed might not be the way to go.

This is an interesting conversation.
How are the organicare pellets different from other dry ferts like Epsoma Tomato Tone?
I've come to the conclusion that many roads can lead to the same destination -- if you know what you're doing and pay attention.

I agree with your conclusion. I have seen all kinds of methods and genetics and growers put out some amazing stuff!

possibly npk values, higher calcium,, release rate, cost, those are the only differences I notice.
I've used several of the store bags like this one and they all grew mj. I dont think anyone could say one is any better than the other.

I can speak on my final successful one right out of the bag following directions with no tweak or fuss, just water.

when I was following the directions on the bags of the Epsom I was not satisfied with results in my indoor pails., without knowing what I was doing and paying attention as you say and thats fuss tweaking to me.....outdoors that Epsoma as good as golden pooh as directed as most are.

I've bubbled rabbit shit in water only and fed that tea to pro mix 2x weekly and water in between. Those were the best plants I ever finished. I wish rabbit pooh came composted, I'd change from composted chicken shit....I hate fussing with live poop in the medical garden.

I like the idea of water-only organic soil, but I always end up using nutrient teas to fix deficiencies. Some strains are also heavier feeders than others. Not a big deal, but it takes a little fussing.

no fuss here, I dont see deficiencies, I dont feed one any different than the other. maybe thats the reason I settles on Organicare brand? right out of the bag per directions no fuss, just the way I like it. they made it so easy for me

I would be surprised with the different concentrations of nutes I custom water in each individual plant for best results if it goes that smoothly for me.

I expect to mix lighter and top dress ccordingly.

ive read quite a few of these comments ,not all but a few,,got to say if you by chance think there isnt a organic nutrient,,you might should check out BETTER ORGANIX.COM,,i personally know these guys and they will prove you very wrong,,ive used there product line for 2 years now,,and had life in coco promix and soil,,every thing they make is from mother nature herself,,check them out before you just go and use miricle grow,,ive also used it and had good harvest ,but there is a lot of died plants in between tweeking that feed schedule out,,ive also have used botaincare pro soil,,had great sucess with it and used it till the take over,,both indoors and outdoors for veggies,,but eco will and can walk you completly threw a grow with there products,,if science is your gig and need documention,,he got it and still working on other products in spain as we speak,,so dont asume there is no such thing as ORGANIC nutrients till you bend the 2 of them ear,,tell them oldskol told you about them and they will hook you up with discounts,,

chances are
1) I dont like fuss, fussy plants either
2) The genetics i've chosen along the way were either keepers or passed over, most all were thought of as good or great.(hated on ak48 and slh
3) They get passed over for different reasons
4) If they were not fussed with maybe they did not express correctly because they were over fed, or under fed, or didnt like my
ambient ph or temps or c02 or pro mix, or water or watering habits...

but, the ones I've kept through the years happen to do perfectly with no fuss, lucky me right

makes sense to me

I thought that was the whole point. To fill your garden with your best stuff.

I am still in the variety seeking stage. But slowly and surely I am seeing I like certain hybrids and phenos more than others.

exactly. maybe the plants I've grown along the way actually did require more fussing than I was willing to offer. They maybe needed more of this or less of that....but I didnt care. To make the cut here they have to be not only a star grower with grade A effects but also compliant.
Easy now to say my 26 current different running strains need no fuss, never did and we love em.

I used it when I was a baby grower, it works as well as ANY nutrient system I ever used. I never encountered a nutrient system that did not function well when used as directed.
