im lyricist and a spoken word poet so i love actually reciting rather than just writting but since i'm shy ill post. this one is called "Mute", tell me what you think.

And I can’t speak
My tongues too weak to seek and say things my mind thinks
Things that don’t go away, that I have to write to let go
I wish I could just show you my heart and maybe if you held it
You’d know it exists
And I can’t say what I’m thinking because it’s perfect.
It’s the perfect combination
Of cute concise syllables to play to your ear
Little by little,
Whittling away words of love on a heart that knows not-
They are for her.
If I spoke I’d choke on the surge of truths
Of your eyes, and smile and cheeks and while every point I’d love to tell you how
I would die if I even thought to now…
And I wish I could touch
Since my fingertips tell stories and fantasies,
Curving cuddling, earning smiles and laughs
Loving silently, lasting at last
Telling you swiftly and telling you fast
Things my tongue is too tantalized to mention
And I wish I could speak, so not only your eyes
Would understand me…and I wish I could speak…
