Hey guys, I'm pretty new to this. Hoping Im on the right track

Two plants 6.5" tall, 3.5" square pots for the last 2 weeks, in a quality Organic Vege soil (amended with perlite), havent visually confirmed if its roots are yet bound. The lowest of the leaves have started to yellow off quite a bit, have made sure water is close as pH'd as poss for the last few waterings.

I am making the guess the plants being this size in a smaller pot are ready for a feed (staying in these pots). I havent yet purchased anything but what should I water with to give that N P boost? WCasting Tea? Looking for cost effective as I wouldnt mind using it on the rest of my potted veggies if needed, and maybe even used for DWC lettuces.

Anyone object to this, or recommend anything better? And why?

Interested to hear feedback, pretty nervous about feeding as burn them as seedlings with hydro nutes.

Cheers :joint:

Yeah!
Go for the worm casting tea!
If not, make regular compost tea.
Start with very diluted feedings.

I like to use alfalfa meal to raise N quickly. 1 cup of alfalfa meal to about 4.5 gallon (I leave room to aerate) of water. Ideally I let the alfalfa aerate alone for 1 day and then add about 3 tbs of molasses to the mix an let that aerate for 12-24 hours. Then saturates my soil with the mix. I use this a couple of times in veg regularly and only once have I needed to do this in flower.
I like to feed with Kelp tea a couple of times in flower this generally will be sufficient N will blooming.
And always when there is juice from the worm bin it gets added to the tea. If you have a good soil base this should take care of most of your needs.
An sort of urine to raise your N organically I don't know anything cheaper than Alfalfa to raise your N.

You could pretty much do a complete grow with alfalfa, kelp and EWC.

I would think so. I love using all of them its almost impossible to over do them. And you can't get cheaper than Earth Worm Castings that you raise yourself. I bought a big sack full of alfalfa meal for $17 and use it in my vegetable garden and flowers. Going on my second year on the same bag.

Wait till you do the bokashi thing with alfalfa meal instead of the wheat bran and use that fermented stuff both as an amendment AND worm food. :weed:

Simply amazing!!!
