Once a plant goes totally yellow can it be brought back?

So i have three plants that went completely yellow in week 2-3 of flower. for a week I tried adding just a little bit of 2-0-0 to their feed to get the green back. Then next feeding I added full blown veg nutes but nothing. At this point the flowers still coming in strong and with tons of trichomes but the plants are almost white they are so yellow. Not crispy, just uniformly yellow

I was fighting some a mag deficiency in veg which i believe was caused by too much nutes and the soil ph drop in the low 5s. I flushed a few times and for a the last two weeks or so of veg I was just adding Ro with calmag so I think i flushed too much causing the nitrogen to completely leave the soil.

Am I SOL for getting some green back in the plants and if its even worth it at this point? And has anyone ever had this. Am I gonna loose a lot of weight or is the final product going to less than desirable?

I'm at day 33 of flower on a 65 day strain

Thanks

It's hard without pics. If the leaves are yellow, actually yellow not pale, and soft and still attached and pliable then it's quite possibly iron. Cal mag + could help? It might be too late in the game to bring them back. I do not have a ton of knowledge on this maybe a little. The + in cal mag + means with iron FYI. Good luck.

You will never get the plant green again......The only thing that corrects leaf "damage" is N Problems.....You have a host of problems brought out by pH trouble causing lockouts and now your stuck with it......

Will it effect yields = You bet!

Run it out to learn what it will do and next time - Be more careful

You know what? Try this on your next run.

Dyna Gro Foliage Pro. Start to finish .......

Read this -

You need to be simple...

BTW, what are you in?
Soil? What kind?
What Nutrient?
What water?
You feed how much and how often?

I think I have that book somewhere. It's been ages since I read it.

Im also trying to find a link to the initial problem having. This forum has changed so much since I've been back and yes I'm definitely rusty. I've been growing for over 10 years on and off. Had tons of success in the beginning. Took a few years off, had some good runs, took more time off and ever since its been a struggle and the sad thing is now I have inquired more money and my setup is 10x better than when I started. Soil has always been a struggle for me and is what these plants are in. Plus it's the first in with these pine apple express so I'm not sure if they are hungrier than normal.

Fox farm ocean forest RO water
Mbferts.com nutes with calmag plus. Ranging from 2-3mls per gallon all the way to 10-15ml (only once or twice) per gallon and 5ml of calmag plus. Feed is usually every other freeding but a couple times went feed feed water. Instinctly I saw problems thought was a deficiency and added more nutes. I should have posted here but I still thought things would bounce back and my skills would come back to me. Well they didn't.

So I was on the right track with N. :) Surprised they didn't come back a little green since I noticed the yellow and added nitrogen to the food regime I'm still seeing great flower devolopment

N, no.. More like too much P&K....if you hit it with more N it might slow down the progression of the problem. I would have had to see the pictures and known what the NPK of that fert was then to have helped.

Yo Doc,

I know you're a busy person but I found the links to the initial problems to the soil and the ebb and flow system that you recently helped me with. if you're interested in seeing how the whole problems started from the other thread you helped me with "deficiency happens every cycle" here is the link to the other site. I wish i posted here and got your help from the beginning but i did not register until later. I don't think it would change your advice you gave but idk

Edit: looking back on the grow I'm realizing I didn't do a heat job flushing the new hydroton and i'm wondering if that could have started/contributed to the problem

Below is a Link to problem with the soil plants and problems i was having with the ebb and flow setup.

Last but not least you recommend the full dyna grow line up or the dyna foliar?

I'll snap a pic or two of them tonight when lights turn on
Cool sometimes it helps to let others see a pic .......I've seen people worry about nothing several times here ..........I'm not saying your problem is not bad I'm just saying a pic will help to get more of a definitive answer from the people your asking. Il keep an eye out later for the pics good luck

That all came from too much P&K too early.....
NO bloom foods till week 3 of after the flip...

For soil use Dyna Foliage Pro, Dyna Protekt Feed one day and the protekt the next.

Foliage pro start to finish = no bloom food

I didn't feed bloom nutes for the first 2-3 weeks. Only Ro water with calmag plus

Definitely looks like too much/early PK as Doc mentioned.
But I'd wait for more professional and experienced input, than relying on mine. I'm glad to see and hear that your flowering still does what it should, and hasn't stalled or worse.
