Oildry??

I seem to have springtails infestation... and decided to add about a half inch of oildry ( which is chunky diotomacious earth.) on top of my soil. I know some guys do the same thing with sand to keep pests out. Any thoughts on this and if it could effect my root zone in anyway? Or if it will even be effective in chunky form...?

Just stop over watering and let the soil dry out more between waterings. That will greatly reduce the population if not eliminate them.

Most species of springtail aren't a problem for cannabis, they eat decomposing garbage and not your plant so the few that remain shouldn't be a concern.
