Ohio needs to catch up and help curb the violence brought by interstate traffic of Cannabis by regulating it locally in Ohio.

HO can't be PM'd. I'm guessing because of the post count? I think lots of Buckeyes here would like to know where they could sign the petition, myself included. In this part of the state, its not too likely I'll just happen across someone set up on the square running a petition drive. Do you know of any other resources for finding somewhere to sign?

I'm looking for a place to sign this as well. This info should be more available, these are stoners were talking about. If I find out how to sign this I will defiantly spread the word. Everyone I have spoke with about this doesn't know anything more then it is coming.

"Your Petition is only a Printer away."
Go to https://ohiorights.org/volunteer, sign up as a petitioner, download the Petition. Each one is numbered so don't copy a Petition, just download another. "You can not sign your own petition." as you are the witness to the signing and can't Witness for yourself. So, have you GF/BF/wife/husband/life partner download one too so you can sign it.
You can stop by your local library and get a handful of Voter Registration cards, so if someone wants to sign but hasn't registered in the last 4 yrs, or is unsure can fill one out so that their Signature will count. MAKE SURE that their address the put on petition is the address they registered with... if they not sure of the address they used have them FILL OUT A NEW CARD, re-registering is not a problem, jus make sure the cards are took back to the Library with-in 10 days of being signed.

Don't wait to find someone with it, BE the one WITH IT. circulate it among your friends and family then mail the petitions the Ohio Right Group, or drop off @ your local county captain every county has one. Like i said just download it, even if you only get a few signatures it will help! Believe me when people hear you have a Petition in a place that hasn't had a Petition in Circulation they will be looking for YOU to help give them the chance to help give Ohioians the chance to decide for ourselves how we wish to treat our illnesses, to gain a better Quality of Life.

I know that there is 2 people in and around Mahoning County one in campbell, and one on the West Side of Youngstown. I will find out more places and try and post.

Remember we have till the middle next year to collect the needed 385,000 Signatures.

EDIT: You can PM Me if you need ANY help getting started

My wife and I were looking over the amendment and it goes into a lot of details about the commission, which is good, but it doesn't mention how many plants a home grower can have. All it says is "...shall have the right to produce their own cannabis, and to acquire Cannabis sufficient to alleviate their suffering...." Does that mean we would be able to grow as much as we need? I want to be able to explain to people what it means. I think it is ridiculous they way they have it in some other states where each person is limited to the same amount of their medicine. I guess they are afraid some people would make more than they use and sell it untaxed. That would not be us. It is annoying to us having people want to buy our weed.

the number of plants, and total allowed will be set by the commission, you have to remember Ohio is a hard state to get things like this passed so is better to not to make a number, but let the commission handle it so it is brought up by a state office and more widely accepted then an not state official making the limits. The important part is that we will be able to cultivate are own meds. IMHO, that is the only logic i can figure but i am unsure. Will E-mail and see if i can get a definitive answer.

Thanks Sire. I'm just a little leery about having someone come and check my grow area and nose around my house.

That is a valid concern, during my time in Cali, we would get random check ups by the county sheriffs, but they are employed by the state not the feds. Personally i wouldn't mind since i didnt while in Cali, most of the time they would just do a walk thru and check that you weren't over your limit say GL and go about their way. small price to pay for not having to take 8 different pills 3 times a day, since only 3 are for my illness and the other 5 are to counter act the side effects, meet a lady during my time walking and getting signatures that says she has to get her liver and kidneys checked every 2 months for possible failure do to the prescriptions she has to take.

yes i ramble but it is out of passion for the cause.

Know who you are trying to get to sign as in what kind of person. i have gotten quite a few on the idea of legal Hemp for industrial purpose, and my favorite is when they say no i won't sign it, my response " sign it then if it makes it to a vote, vote NO if thats how you feel about the amendment, but let the people decide and get a chance to vote."

Yeah and they all think you should cut them a deal or even give it to them for free, as if they think its free for you. Its a big risk right now where its illegal and its alot of work, dedication and knowledge. I know i have put over $1500 into the room and nutes.

What the fuck are you talking about?
I think he means that people are importing weed illegally to ohio, causing innocent people to go to jail, and criminals to gain power and money, while letting people that need medicine suffer.
Thats exactly what it means. My city now has a street gang from Detroit in it..... granted not all their profit comes from bud but it is a % that could be taken away. i don't see them selling Tobacco or alcohol.
