so no one hear thinks obama will bully pulpit the issue of no federal loans for those convicted of mere possession? because that's kind of obama's style right there. guarantee you we will be hearing about that on the stump.
Hope so, depends on what the poll say really and unfortunately those of us who are passionate about our plant are in the minority. I want my online poker back too, if you could get him to help with that?

And then nothing....
you're right, the republicans will likely filibuster anything that can result in more people having access to education, it would kill their base if people got educated.

but it's better than complete inaction or, as willard would do, action in the opposite direction. have fun voting for that.

I like your idea but Food insurance is not even remotely controversial, don't you think? How can that be an argument?
I'm telling you, Ireland being the 51st State would be a shit-storm if it caught on, lots of politicians of Irish descent over there, including Barry O'Bama. How would he avoid alienating himself on that one?

[h=1]Online Poker CEO Arrested for $430 Million Ponzi Scheme[/h]Posted on: 7:47 pm, July 2, 2012

By Emily Jane Fox
NEW YORK (CNNMoney) — Federal prosecutors arrested Raymond Bitar, chief executive officer of online poker site Full Tilt Poker, on Monday in connection with a $430 million Ponzi scheme his site was accused of running last year.
Bitar was at John F. Kennedy International Airport, as he returned to the United States to face punishment for allegedly defrauding poker customers by lying to them about the security of their funds. He was charged with gambling, bank fraud and money laundering offenses.
As of June of last year, Full Tilt owed $300 million to players around the world but only had $6 million with which to pay them, according to the prosecutor’s office. Prosecutors said that he siphoned more than $430 million in gamblers’ winnings to board members and owners.

well I blame Frist, he was the one who sponsored the UEIGA bill. This was one of those bills that Obama ran against promising he would repeal asap. Maybe THIS time he means it.:hump:

The 51st state thing is ok, just has to be a US territory or possession already.

I thought the same thing when Ireland was mentioned. The new state is a good idea. One of the small Fiji Islands with an American base on it.... or something, i'm just spitballing.
