I took it in LA. It was pretty informative. Lots of good info on the politics and history. Not so much info about horticulture though. The cooking information was useful as well. Overall I was pretty happy with how it went. Got to meet some interesting people such as Jeff Jones (google United States v. Oakland Cannabis Buyers Cooperative). Everything was given pretty fast but there was a lot to go through so they kept to a tight schedule. I would recommend it to anyone who is serious about growing their own medication in California.

san deigo had a huge seminar class at the convention center I think. From legality to growing. It looked awesome. I found out the day they had it from an ad in the reader.

High all,
I am from NY and will be attending Oaksterdam on June 19/20 for basic and then again on June 26/27 for the advanced... any information would be greatly appreciated -- hoping that this can be my retirement gig ...
Thanks and enjoy your day!

Is there any of you that have taken the weekend seminar that can talk to me ?:peace:
I took them a long time ago. Learned a lot of interesting stuff, learned almost zero useful information about anything.

When I took it Denis Person was teaching there. He talked about the origins of prop 215. That was pretty fucking epic. Richard Lee taught the growing class. That was pretty fucking lol. He taught a room full of eager students how to grow ditch weed.

You can learn a lot from this site on growing so you can save your $$$ for other things
Oaksterdam's growing courses are a lot like learning how to grow from online information, except Oaksterdam classes have more misinformation.
