Oaksterdam and resumes for cannabis jobs... worthwhile?

Second things first: Do I even need a resume? My hearing sucks so bad I need two hearing aids, so I'm a lousy candidate for a budtender job ("Burl's Lout Wookies? Never heard of that strain, ma'am."), but I'd like to get into some part of the industry, maybe growing, cloning, breeding, scouting out promising new strains, whatever.

So just being a lifelong slacker is no longer considered a qualification? I have to make a resume? As a wise man once said, that sucks more than anything has ever sucked before! But I'll do it if I have to, so ... do I have to?

I live in Salinas, Calif., so Oakland is not too far away. If I'm certified by them, will it give me any kind of advantage when it comes to finding work? And what about the other "cannabis colleges" in California?

what the other guy said to add on why
their are several different schools all with own program there is not real standardized program so one shop might say yes they like that school or they can say no u are not trained way i want

if school is your thing take some agriculture class those are worth it as u know the basics of all plants ....also marketing and maybe a few psych class too

if u want to break into the biz .......u need to meet someone in it and befriend them learn and ask if they know any one looking for trimmers or field hands at harvest .......if your a good worker and a good trustworthy guy they will bring u in and find a spot for u to do your thing with them

i was like u .......i got lucky and met a nice person off this site that wanted a hand .....i went out there help them out on harvest .....they offered me a permit job ......i took it and partnering up with them for 2017 season
