.. so, has anyone seen this yet? the nypd, in an effort to extend public relations to social media, put out a campaign asking for the public to tweet pix of themselves with officers of the nypd.. things started off smoothly enough, with people taking pix of them next to cops at what looks to be some sort of sporting event, and a few other feel good pix, but then people started tweeting pix of getting beat by the nypd, and the whole thing has taken what i think is a funny, funny turn.. :D

Holy shit, guys go to google and type in #mynypd and click images. I have high speed internet and a nice ass computer and its still trying to load!

could be good news for all: less beatings and deaths hopefully

It's time for little brother to turn tech to our collective advantage. I say we form a 'drone collective', create a few 'honey traps' for those lovely guys/gals in blue then use the proceeds from the first successful op to go national.
We are the power (no need to fight it, it's already ours).

After cops we move onto industrial lobbyists, politicians,etc.
All and sundry.

What is particularly alarming about this epic twitter fail is the increasing militarization of many Police Forces across the country.
Even in the face of exposed brutality on an unprecedented scale, these large and small constabularies now need to acquire tanks and similar heavy weapons in order to do their jobs.
I think not.

That shit makes me SICK.

Seeing local cops drive around in MRAPS, rifle grade armor, helmets, night vision, long guns, is disgusting.

How many fuckin' cop cars have been blown to shit by 200+ pound HME charges?

How many fuckin' cops get attacked by sustained small arms fire and rocket propelled grenades?

There's no call for that shit.

Waste of the tax payers dollar, and a discredit to the rule of law IMO.
