Nutrients for seedlings

Hi,

I currently have my seedlings growing in rockwool at the moment provided with 18 hours of light per day. I was wondering if someone could please tell me when nutrients could be added also by which ratio. The seedlings are around 3 inches tall and are two weeks old (germination, placed into rockwool). Also how much water is best for seedlings? I currently water once daily.

Cheers :-P

Always have your water 24hrs old from the tap i use one of those big water at work containers (like in offices) i think they hold about 18ltr's, then just add your nuits however, if it says 7ml per ltr on the bottle id use 2/3 ml per ltr, let them get strong, people all have their favs, i have used ionic for years and found it good (very) try find out what kind of water you have (soft) (hard) with pots i feed every 2/3 days, try keep it if poss to the same time each time you feed, i find its best when the lights just come on because thats when they feed (in the light), but always try keep it simple ok, if you feed when the light comes on if poss keep to that they love routine. good luck.

Two weeks, I think it's safe to start feeding them lightly now. I use Ionic also. Banger also gave good advice about letting your water stand to get rid of the chlorine. Err on the low side with nutes; they can survive with less a LOT better than too much. Nearly everyone kills plants by overfeeding them; I've yet to hear of one that starved to death.
