nutrient or heat burn & nute Question

hey guys

I think this is probably nute burn but what do I know! My ladies are pretty close to my lights 250hd but I keep them very well fanned. and looks more like the middle leafs are effected. Im using very little nute about .6 ml of floranova & .1 floralicious plus in a gallon of water (my res is way too small but i do top it up every day)

second question:
Most people (from what I have heard) start of with x amount of nutes in res and top up with water. Would it make more sense to use a weaker solution and just keep topping up with solution?. ex. instead of using 1ml/gal and top up with water use say .5ml/gal and just keep it topped up with solution? thanks for the help

Sure, when I get them dialed in I top with nutes, sometimes for a couple weeks! lol.
You are working with a small res so Im sure you have been told to change out every week but hey, when you can see your plants are doing fine ph is right you just top with nutes and check ph again.

Are you using Flora Nova Bloom or Grow? if your using grow stop now and use just the Nova Bloom I have seen the grow cause simular problems.. also I would stop with the floralicious.. Flora Nova Bloom is everything the plant needs its also known as the lucas formula... There is no need for additives when using Nova series... If you are already using just the bloom then back the light up..

the bloom is for flowering dude! lacks N. not sure about floralicious might be causing this. but I used it on my 1st grow (this is my second) and the end result was great! so trying not to change too many variables. but having the same burn problems as my first grow without all the ph problems! I change my res twice a week (sometimes with just water) and topping everyday.

thats more then likely a mag problem..
due to lockout caused by low pH probably cos ur nutes should have plenty of mag..
So keep ur pH steady, prob better to invest in a bigger res.

If ur using RO water then invest in some cal/mag BUT dont do this until ur sure that wot ur using is low in Mag, cos u dont wanna add more if mag is already there but not available due to pH fuck-ups.

I do very much appreciate the help.I am a newb so I can't argue but why make the Nova Grow then? (other than the obvious cash grab I guess). Also trying to go with a lower ph to about 5.8 or 6 i think before i was probably closer to a 6.5 so not sure about the mag deficiency since nova grow has plenty of mag which I think would have been available at 6.5

In case anyone had a similar problem.....this was fixed by adding a larger air pump and reducing my ph to 6. I guess the answer was not nute burn but some sort of deficiency instead. thanks for the help guys.
