Nutrient Formulas

Well I headed to buy some nutes as mine were running low.

After an hour chatting with the guy I decided to mix my own.

I have everything needed and am curious what you all use for formulas.

I currently have a CalMag formula and Fatmans Veg/Bloom recipe.

Rather than gather individual micros I found a good mix of chelated micro.

Look forward to mixing my first batch and reading everyone's formulas.

Thanks

Haven't tried;

Power Plant
3-1-4-1-0.5
4.53 kg / 3.785 L = 1.2 g/ml
@ 30 ml/usgal: 273-42-316-234-48 (Ca should be 94)
EC 2.37 mS
10L stock solution 100:1 concentration

KNO3 mass = 683.6 g
Ca(NO3)2 mass_yara = 1229.2 g
FeEDDHA mass = 55.5 g

MgSO4 mass = 483 g
KH2PO4 mass = 182.4 g
ZnSO4 mass = 4.397 g
MnSO4 mass = 4.09 g
CuSO4 mass = 1.3 g
H3BO3 mass = 7.61 g
Na2MoO4 mass = 0.076 g

Power Flower
2-2-5-1-0.5
4.5 kg / 3.785 L = 1.19 g/ml
@ 37.5 ml/usgal: 238-104-494-132-60 (Ca should be 114)
EC 2.37 mS
10L stock solution 100:1 concentration

KNO3 mass = 941.1 g
Ca(NO3)2 mass_yara = 693.4 g
FeEDDHA mass = 55.5 g

MgSO4 mass = 603.7 g
KH2PO4 mass = 456.1 g
ZnSO4 mass = 4.397 g
MnSO4 mass = 4.09 g
CuSO4 mass = 1.3 g
H3BO3 mass = 7.61 g
Na2MoO4 mass = 0.076 g

Aqua Flakes

1.125 g/ml
@ 6 ml/L: 310-100-555-205-68 (224 ppm pure calcium nitrate)
EC 2.95 mS
10L stock solution 100:1 concentration

KNO3 mass = 1110.2 g
Ca(NO3)2 mass_yara = 1080.1 g (1320.8 g pure calcium nitrate)

MgSO4 mass = 684.6 g
KH2PO4 mass = 439.7 g

@ 3 ml/L 155-50-277-103-34
plus 65 g shooting powder 0-49-25: 155-189-412-113-34 (132 ppm pure calcium nitrate)
EC 2.44 mS

KNO3 mass = 451.6 g
Ca(NO3)2 mass_yara = 595.9 g (779.3 g pure calcium nitrate)

MgSO4 mass = 342.3 g
KH2PO4 mass = 830 g

or Aqua Flakes at half strength, plus 49 g MKP. you can play with the ppm as you see fit.

so i guess you were happy about it? lol.

if you get some time, read that link i gave you. it gives the whole background of the "why" behind Lucas being a good formula for growing cannabis.
I have no clue what your talking about.

I have been researching dry nutes and have decided to go my own route.

Unless you have information to actually share then I am not sure why you would even comment.

Looks like a good ingredient list to me. You could also get Iron DTPA if it's cheaper, but then you'd need to recalculate how much you need (easy with hydrobuddy)

Also, keep in mind that yara calcium nitrate is not pure calcium nitrate. It's 5Ca(NO3)2*1NH4NO3. Still great stuff, but you need to take that into consideration when making a formula. Most people use yara so...

Ive been using fatmans coco formula for a year now, found the formula from another guy on here. Ive compared it to commercial brands and fatmans coco coir wins every time hands down. NO need to add anything such as calcium, iron or magnesium.

What kind of feed schedule?

I used H&Gs nutrient calculator and determine their feed program is basically the same the entire grow.

People are getting ripped.

So my numbers show all I need is A/B Grow and my version of shooting powder from weeks 6 on.

My next grow will be all diy nutes.

I don't go by a schedule however I start with 200ppm and go up slowly from there. Yea man diy nutes is the way to go. The first thing i noticed was the leaves looked a lot healthier when I did a side by side grow. I never had a deficiency problem since i started using the diy nutes. Btw..I was comparing them to foxfarms grow big and Tiger bloom.
