there should be directions right on the bottles, feed 1/4 strength the recomended dosage and see how the plants react.

what medium are you growing in? if your using a potting soil or a fox farm product such as ocean forest of happy frog i wouldnt even bother with nutes.

Nutes are one of the most common misconception to new growers i see. people use them yes but that dosent mean you HAVE to use them @ 2 weeks. you really should just keep an eye on your plants and when you see them start to get a lighter green color you know the available nitrogen in the soil is most likely gone and you should start them on the 1/4 strength regiment of nutrients, then obviously in flower your going to want to get them started on a bloom feed (high P rating in the N-P-K (3-5-3) scale) to help them pump out the biggest fattest buds they can.

almost every plant i grow i dont need to give any nutes during vegatative growth. i jenerally use fox farm's Ocean forest potting soil. lately i have been using Epsoma's organic bulb tone which is i believe a 4-5-4 fertilizer. i cant say much for it yet as i havent seen any results but the Epsoma's "garden tone" organic fertilizer 4-3-4 i believe has worked really well to feed my plants for 2+ months.

so again, having to use nutrients is just a misconception and its probably in your best intrest to let the plant decide when it needs food or your just going to possibly oversaturate the medium with Nitrogen, waste money (fox farm products arent cheap) and end up causing mor eproblems than solving by feeding a plant that already has a full plate.

Okay so if i use fox farm soil they're really isn't no use of any other product ?
But if the leaves start turning light they need nutrients
And when do i start giving them bloom feed ? And i only give them 1/4 of what it says on the direction ?
Sorry im a newbie

What he was saying is that if you're in Ocean Forest you don't need to worry about nutrients right now. You will need them but right after a transplant into fresh soil it's not as urgent. His seem to be ok through veg. I like to feed them a little but nothing too nuts. I'm using Vermi Fire soil. It's a little stronger then Ocean Forest but my plants seem to like it.

Are you inside or out? If you're inside then you start to give them bloom foods right after you switch to 12/12. I wait about a week or so into 12/12 to start the bloom food. My plants seem to like the extra N while in transition. Then it's bloom time.

Not a fan of MG food but they will work in a pinch just be sure to go light at the end.

Ok if you grow in soil you dont have to feed anything for the first 2-3 weeks of veg. All you need is veg nutes and flower nutes no need for all that says it will make your buds huge or taste super great. All that comes with a good grower and healthy plants. I do like the Flora Nectar from GH though it does bring out more of the natural taste. Do not use anything from Miracle Grow the nutes will burn the plants and make for a harsh smoke even if you flush the crap out of the plants.

If you are using Fox Farm they provide a feeding chart on their site http://foxfarmfertilizer.com/feedingfox.html but I prefer to work up to full strength even in soil plus I have heard that FF soil is hot nute wise to begin with but I have never used it personally. Also I'm not a huge fan of MG either but they have some granules you add to your water, I used it for my peppers this year and it worked fine.
