Ok gardeners,, can somebody please tell me of any line of nutrient that you can use successfully in any grow medium..... Coco, perlite, soil, dwc, rdwc, or anything else,
So you can just go to the cupboard and use the same nutrients anyway you wish to grow ?? And not thinking is there a better nutrient for what I am growing in

Yes some nutrient lines that are out there say you can use there's in any growing medium but I don't want to listen what they are suggesting I would like to hear from people on the ground
Cheers

The trouble with this is that different growing styles require different levels of certain nutrients.

For example coco requires elevated levels of Ca and Mg to that of soil because of cocos CEC and the way it binds Ca and releases back K to the roots so elevated levels of Ca are needed to help combat this.

I’ve found over time that if you use for example a hydro specific nutrient in coco you need to supply the additional Calmag as it would be lacking the correct amount of Ca and Mg for coco.

so while it would be great if there was a 1 stop shop for nutrients there just isn’t unless you’re using dry salts and HYDROBUDDY to calculate your mixing ratios for yourself.
