Npk ratios in relation to application rate.

Can't seem to find an answer through Google. When mixing nutrients would the application rates have to be the same to mix up a solution or would the suggested application rates have to be the same. Not talking ppms of specific nutrients but more as a general outlook of the NPK would be appreciated.

Example 1-2-2 fert with suggested 1 tblsp (15ml) per gallon.

Mix with say something like 0-0-3 with tsp (5ml) application rate per gallon.

What would get me 1-2-5

A tblsp and a tsp? Or equal amounts?

Good question . I always suggest going with the manufacturer feed chart initially. Especially if it's a nutrient geared towards cannabis. Depending on the strain you'll probably tweak those amounts to your plants liking as you go. Some eat a lot and some don't. I'm assuming you do have at least a ppm meter?

I'm actually a pretty seasoned grower with no issues. Just really can't seem to find a definitive answer because I do prefer an equal NPK in veg. I know nutrients break down at different rates because of all kinds of variables just really Want to tweak a couple things that have different app rates with the same NPK on their labels.
