NPK-Calculator - ALPHA Version

Hi guys

i didn't do something in years. now i'm in a new run and trying to get the feel again for the ladies.
This should help people, which not really have much experience with fertilizers and haven't developed the feeling for it yet. i think it's a good starting point.
as well it could be a tool for more advanced growers, which want to try new fertilizers, maybe in combination, maybe trying a complete new way of manuring. so this could be the tool just to play around a bit.
the last run i did was in coco, following the lucas formula. i never found another scheme, which tells you that detailled what the ratios are for nutrients.

The main goal is to not overfeed them ladies. Most Fertilizers are like, too much Calcium in some plant-stage, which "steels" from your EC-account, which could be used for other Nutes like Phosphor.

If you have ideas for improvements, better ratios to offer, better schemes at all, please let me know!!

alright then lets go:
so, my Excel-sheet i have here for you is somehow based on the lucas formula
my idea was to make it open to every fertilizer out there, not only for micro-bloom-grow from AH.
So you can combine, and try to combine without calculating too much.

Explanation

  • Blue fields are for filling in your MAIN-ferts. atm there are 3 rows. i think more than 3 main-ferts are not necessary. not including supplements like vitamins etc.
  • in the yellow field you can play with the numbers. how much parts from which fertilizer
  • the mix is the final solution and the NPK-Ratio in %. The graph is only to make it a little bit easier to look at
  • in the bottom matrix is the "lucas-ish" scheme with the recommended ratios
  • right from that, you can put in a tolerance (yellow fields), which indicates if you are in the recommended range or not
thats it!
i know it's simple and not really developed yet.
but the idea is simple as well, so...:)
i think with a little try and error, you can match ferts in a good way with in a better Tolerance from time to time.

So, let me know what you think and more important - please share ideas for improvement and like that thread:)

Cheers

maybe there is no interest in this tool. i think it can be handy.
maybe i've posted it in the wrong sub-forum. it maybe could be more helpful in the General Forum or Newbie Central.
Admins? how can i reach you anyway?

Hey dude, love the idea! I've been having similar thoughts and would love for you to check out my first take on a feed calculator in Google Sheets.
Honestly, think people are just not into downloading stuff anymore. Even signing into accounts is a hassle for folks these days. Maybe also scared of zip files... just a thought...

Anyhow, that's why I choose Google Sheets. You can edit the green fields without having to log in :)

Open for feedback y'all! If you think it's worth it, I'll be adding more products to the list... The only problem is that most nute companies don't tell you all about what's in the bottle and only state what they have to....

PS. Sulfur content of Terpinator is an educated estimate (can't find guearanteed analysis)...

Peace!
