Now is the time for Republicans to embrace

Ain't gonna happen. And if you get your wish of legal sales the government will shut down home growing at the behest of corporations selling weed

Your idea doesn't add up. Neither does your latest trying to wriggle out of being a prohibitionist side stepping idea.

You say because the government does something (too much regulation), you would want them to do more of the same thing (too much regulation), by restricting sales and jailing those that sell.

The best idea is the government should butt the fuck out, period. People that think more government can fix government fuckups are fucked up. There should be NO tax, NO permission required, NO crony serving regulations.

Whether something is going to happen a certain way or not, is no reason to ADVOCATE for it to happen. The minute you see a mouth rapist, you don't have to reflexively drop on your knees y'know.

No government man, sell DDT laced pot to kids
Ron Paul rules!
I accept that you wish you hadn't stated your prohibitionist ideas. I accept that you would rather change the subject as your prohibitionist mindset is nothing to be proud of.

Ron Paul has nothing to do with this topic, although he gets alot of things right, one of them is that people should own their own bodies and be able to freely make exchanges with others on a consensual basis. You are against that and want people jailed for it.

DDT? Is that like the paraquat the USA sprayed on pot Mr. Prohibitionist?

I've been predicting that the GOP will embrace full legalization in 2016 for some time. It will be another single issue arrow in their quiver. And based on all of the people that would have voted for ron paul on just this single issue they are right.

If the GOP had any brains (they don't), they'd figure out that the legalization of marijuana is not a question of if it becomes legal, but when.
The majority of young Americans do not like the government forcing them to spend what little money they have on healthcare insurance.

In 2016, the GOP could run on legalizing pot, and getting rid of Obamacare, it would be a blow out IMO.

That won't happen. The base of the GOP will not go there in '16. You don't watch from 50 yard line. Fox news is having reefer madness, every day.

Pundit, Bull O'Reilly, pontificates, ponderously on this every week, as does Rush..(preferring the opiates, the dog)

If you think these Libertarian Paulistas, have the ear of the Republican base, well, you must be smoking something. :)

If the Senate becomes PUB, the backlash begins on CO and WA, a big chill message will be sent to FL and CA. Set back.

From 1933-1978 they did. And it wasn't legal in all states until 2013, look it up
So, State by state, as it should be. And Tickles partner went legit from the Moonshine business, even though ABC, Tenn. knows about his show on TV. He becomes the poster child for legit.

State by State is a Skate. Fed fools in the room, spells doom.

Yes but as their base shrinks and they become desperate, they will change. Look at how fast public opinion over gay rights and marijuana law has progressed in the last decade. I can't think of another issue that would get more people off the couch than legalization.

And yes I am smoking something and it's quite good!

Any backlash against thoses states will be devastating to their party.

It will be interesting.

I will be interested....:) Adopting the other Parties position? The PUBS suck at that. The DEMS are masters and don't allow it.

The DEMS, will make endless hay, on the flip-flopping and fake, new standings for Politics. HA HA> The DEMS will say this shallow play is only about raising taxes, and more govt, etc, to legalize cannabis. "The PUBS sold out."

They can't win it this way. They need to get with a young dynamic, and agile conservatism concept, that can embrace these times. All they have now is the smear of anti-gay/women/ganja/any progress. The world is moving faster than the PUBS and that is a fact.

For the PUBS to embrace this before the State of Texas does, is impossible, I think. The PUBS know all this,

Their job is to orchestrate, healthy foot dragging, nay saying, and generally to be against the well oil machine of the DEMS.

Copy cat, is Ron Paul, not the PUBS.
