That's insane for power, especially with solar panels!

My 600w HPS and 200w of T5s run me under $20 a month.
Yes it is insane I hear others on here talking about low power bills our county and several local cities are also trying to stab excess power users with a 45% over use tax if you use over 600% of your allowed base line there will be a 45% tax on your bill. With my solar I can run 4 1000's to veg and 6 to bloom and still stay under the 600%. The only good thing with the tax is it regulates the size of the garden and keeps the big players under control!

In the environment I live in a big player is 1000 lbs per year I'm very small in the scope of the neighborhood. I run 1 indoor a year and a few green house runs in a smaller GH. I plan on legalization in 2016 at that point I will get a permit and make the cartels look small! lol

That would be my happy place
This place is far from happy this time of year, last week there were three murders within 40 miles of my house 2 of them were from out of the area found shot along side of the highway. We have more violent crimes than Washington DC per capita. Its the only thing that bothers me about living in a grow community!

I only meant the big legal grow op...that would be my happy place

I wouldn't post a billboard or anything but it would be nice not to have to worry about my door crashing in :???:

How you been Bak!?!?!

I love your little tooth pick supports haha.
Ya man, I was lazy, and had both them under only one 6K CFL, in front of a big box fan, LOL.
It was real easy to tell when the soil would get dry, because they would blow over, even AFTER the toothpicks. :)
Here's a pic from this week, almost 29 days now, but under a couple more CFL's like I did last year.

Well I'm going to have to try that next time I take cuts. I got a plant going around the house all the time for burns.
One thing BEECH told me, was that he had better lick (and faster) with increased temps while germ'ing, and I found that to be true also...........
When I get my germ temps up around 90 in the closet, I cut off a couple days until sprout versus when I keep them around 70-80, and if I toss a side of a ziploc over the cup to keep moisture in, it reduces the chance of me forgetting to check the surface moisture and screwing it up.:wall:

I put the seeds that I'm germing on top of my T5s. They get plenty of warmth and I don't have to purchase a heating mat. Although I do in winter use a heating pad with some styrofoam placed on top so the don't get to warm.

@Native Humboldt try Los Angeles County if you really wanna bitch about power. Before my lights my base rate is $500.00, nothing really special either. We are looking at moving north and checked power rates, you guys run about 25% of us. My husband has spoken of NOTHING else but my lights after that..... sigh......

In honor of him I hung a new Plasma Light, watch that meter spin LOL
