Whoa... how do you end in hospital from a ganja lolly? Yeah I can see this unleashing a s***storm. Funny I can't remember what the girls got as punishment back in the days of caning. Did they just get away with stuff? Never heard of one getting a hiding.

That's terrible! The teacher put the kid in the hospital? I'd have kicked that ass too!!

My two older sons got in trouble for underage drinking at a friends house, spent a few hours in jail then had to do 40 hours community service. They didn't do that again, and no record. Had their dad been alive, community service would not have been needed ;)

In my day the teachers didn't do it, they sent you to the principal...either the Principal or later in Jr Hi and High school, the Vice Principal did the whacking. Usually it was a wooden paddle with some holes drilled in it so as not to impede velocity (physics doncha know). 10-15 whacks. You had to empty your pockets and kept your pants up and they dished it out. Wasn't at all pleasant, but the better alternative to Dad dishing it out. lol. One time I told the VP to put some meat into the last few whacks, he did and asked why after...I said, so you don't carry a grudge. He laughed, shook my hand and sent me to class

Yeah he was one of those gym teachers that took things too far. Young guy with a very hot temper. He was banned from the profession in his disciplinary hearing, but the point is he really thought it was OK to go overboard. So because of guys like him the laws changed, and you have to admit they had bloody good reason. Gym teachers have a bad track record here. Mt dad told stories of how their rugby team was literally caned into place, the coach was lightning fast and super fit and kept his cane on the field during practice. You screw up, you get one lick on the spot, instantly. Flipside of that is, my dad reckons in three weeks they were like a well oiled machine. They never lost. I never got abused at all. Only well deserved whoopins lol. We kinda made sure they would be worth it muahahahahaha

NTS: I must stop changing my mind so often. Unless changing my mind is the right thing to do. But then again I usually change it to something else then to thought no 1 so it just wastes time. Although on occasion I rest on thought 2 or 3, and usually it was a good idea, so sometimes it doesn't waste time so it really isnt a bad thing. I think I need help untangling this one.

I feel bad for some guys because they have to go through so much to prove themselves when young. Too many end up scarred for life because of some who did go too far, too early. I think its different for all though, my oldest brothers said they couldn't sleep at night until daddy whipped their ass with the belt--for acting up as usual at bedtime-- I never got the belt from daddy since I was the youngest and his only girl..lol

Getting tortured by my brothers is what toughened me up..lol

Dammit man. Hopefully we'll get to play again soon. Talk to the bear lately?
