I remember public schools in Louisiana and Mississippi.
Those Fkn teachers would give us licks at the drop of a hat !
That's crazy, im all for a deserved spanking to your own kid. But for a teacher to beat kids at there own judgment. What if old mrs. apple was on a super heavy flow day and just needed to take out some anger?

Banana in her cars tailpipe. We also carried this one assholes car onto the school pavilion, put it on the steps sideways. Took only six of us rugby players (rugby is like football with no stops, no padding, and a thing called a Ruck n maul pretty brutal) to carry it there. Took them hiring a crane to remove it. Us vs Them lol

Just heard a story from a guy my dads age that went to the same highschool I went to.
Guy was the coach of the football team, coaches had to also be teachers at the time, might still be the same way.
THis guy was a big fucker and had a hatred for this greek guy. Dude I was talking with walked in on him in a empty hallway just beating the shit out of greek guy. Fist fight. Dude got between them.
Later in a study hall same guy I was talking with had walked in late one too many times. He walks in starts sharpening his pencil to a point. Coach slams his fists down on his desk so hard everyone could feel it. Gets all up in his face and he just holds his sharp pencil up to coach. Coach didn't say anything sat down and never said shit to him again.
(coach guy was probably twice the size of him)

I'm not sure if it's a good thing or a bad thing that they quit doing that.
Now it seems they just call the police & an otherwise innocent kid is in the legal system with a record just for doing something stupid.
THIS. Exactly my concern for my kids. It simply doesn't allow one to get all the stupidity out your system before growing up. Giving kids a record is much rougher than a hiding. Of all things why take their FUTURE for doing what kids have done since the dawn of time, which is get into trouble. Pity some idiots really did take it too far, there are some stories around my parts too where violence got out of hand. One dad walzed in and beat up a teacher right in front of the class, well deserved kickin' for putting his son in hospital.

Point in case.

Student shared pot-laced lollipops with classmates, police say

ENFIELD, Conn. – A police chief in Connecticut says a girl handed out marijuana-laced lollipops to classmates at her high school, and one student was hospitalized.

Enfield Police Chief Carl Sferrazza tells the Journal Inquirer that the Enfield High student acknowledged sharing the tainted lollipops, which were laced with THC, an active ingredient in marijuana. She said she received the candy in the mail from California.

The police chief says a 16-year-old girl was hospitalized overnight Monday after consuming one of the lollipops. But he says the student who brought the tainted lollipops to school denied giving any to her.

Because the student is being charged is a juvenile, she will not be arrested. Sferrazza says she'll instead be referred to juvenile court.
