Well it seems the bet was quite broadly worded in nature....is it a tie? I guess you guys needed to be more specific.
To me if we can't buy it here in Ont then it's not legal yet.....on whatever date you guys set.

"Earlier this month, Canadian public safety minister, Ralph Goodale, said that the country's efforts to legalize recreational use of marijuana were "on track and on time." Those words turned out to be off track and poorly timed.

Late last week, the Canadian government acknowledged that its citizens won't be able to legally purchase marijuana for recreational use until at least one month later than originally expected."

I don't know much about canadian law or politics, but I live in one of the 2 most liberal states in the US. Cannabis has been legal recreationally here since December of 2016.

We can possess, grow and consume. That includes concentrates and edibles. It's a paradise except....

We cant legally buy it yet, and the date is continuously being pushed out so they can "prepare". I'm not sure what they need to prepare for.

Medical has been legal for years, and while there are only a handful of dispensaries, they do exist. Growers are ready; there is one operation with a million square feet of greenhouse space ready and waiting.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of towns (we are a town based state) have voted to opt out; meaning they won't allow the sale of cannabis or any related paraphernalia or services.

So I feel for you folks. I don't really care that dispensaries aren't open since I grow more than I can use. But the legal limbo you are in is saddening/maddening.

But on a brighter note I can buy all the AR-15's, bump stocks, large capacity clips, and ammo I can afford. Gotta keep those children safe.

Politicians are cowards, and the anti's are vocal. So sad.....

If you ask me...
If they were able to stand up before the house in the early 1940's and add a drug like cannabis
to the schedule...with no debate... no discussion and no mention of the intent of the ruling...
The it should be equally easy to remove cannabis from the schedule...by simply declaring it removed.

I think it almost needs to be done that way or we should insist that it be done that way.
Its about time our elected officials get the message that we are all paying attention and will call them
on all of the crap they try and pull in the house.
If our dollars are what make these elected goofs mouths work...then what comes out of those same
mouth's should be scrutinized with the utmost importance....and these same individuals be held to what they say...
