So nerd I'm thinking about getting two area 51 xgs-190's and putting them in this closet I have now, I want to try led it can't be that bad plus I would love less heat what do you think?

Yeah bro i would love too upgrade to some good Led's to control the temp if you can move a couple and cover the cost go for it over all you are going to save money in the long run as you will use less power plus less fans or A/C to control the temps if this is something you want to do for a long time then i would highly recommend led's

i myself want the
Apache AT600

but the cost is huge and i think my partner kick my ass if i spend that much money on a light if you got the funds do it you will save in the long run and now people that know how to grow are getting 1gram per watt of led so that's great think thats got a huge thing to do with the temp control i am now getting close to 28-30 so need to maybe set my cooltubes up to drop the temps a little

if you do go with the led make sure you keep logging would love to watch the grow

In gonna go with the two area 51's, you're right the apache is way too much for me lol and I have gained some confidence from this second grow I'll definitely log! I followed you so we're all good lol yeah I just hate seeing temps get high and I even have a 380 cfm fan that I'll be able to cut down the speed on I agree it will be better imo

Yes me to led are the way of the future in a couple of years they will smash HID i still think HID work better as long as you can control the temps

From what I have seen from some led lights they look like they do good lol almost makes me forget about this pretty lady I got haha I wish I would have tried cloning this time I would just stick to growing this strain

Yeah Cloning is great when you got a good plant best to just keep her going even if you are unsure of the plant best to just take a clone anyway and put her under a fluorescent light in a doom till your ready to go and if you don't like her just remove the clone

Yeah my tip for cloning is leave them in the dark for 3 days when you cut them and put them in rockwool or whatever floats your boat then just under a T5 and you will be good as gold just keep the humidity high in a doom make more then you need and the ones that root first are your strongest

Stick with the a51s. Dormgrow are cheap unreliable Chinese junk. I have two xgs 190s and couldn't be happier. They flower really well and emit virtually no heat at all. They do better with a topped/trained plant rather than that donkey dick you are growing (fabulous plant by the way. It might go a little past Halloween before it's ready).

I did top the donkey dick! Lol thank you btw :) and I was thinking , I'm only replacing a 400w light so how many watts in led would replace a 400w? About 300? So two 190's would be perfect for my space? Or would 380w be overkill? I assume it wouldn't be more light the better right?

My canopy is about twenty by thirty inches. My yield is about the same as I get from a 600. Your space is larger, but within a51's stated capacity. I'm only on my second run with these, so still learning what's best method. Scraggly and wild was not the best, lol. Trying a screen now that shows promise.

Not sure if overkill is possible. We are trying to duplicate the sun, after all!
