Northern Grow Lights Photon 180 CLU1825 grow

Here we have a Northern Grow Lights Photon 180 CLU1825 that @robincnn was kind enough to build for me to test.
It utilizes two Citizen CLU058 1825 cobs in 3500k with 90cri.

Just put the plants under the light and screen yesterday. Had these girls vegging for 5 weeks from seed under my 36w veg light. Broke the main tops off both plants plus a side branch from each plant putting the screen in but I will veg these for another 2 weeks to fill it out a bit more so I still get a decent yield and also see how this spectrum does in veg.

Light feels solid and we'll built. First thing I said to myself is these cobs are huge!
So far it looks like a nice spread for 2 cobs, comparable to my 6 cobs in the same size space.
I have it dimmed a little under 3/4 of the way. I will play with that in the upcoming weeks. The 2 cooling fans are near silent.

Plants are Blackdog Kush and Mango Sapphire from Humboldt seeds.
2x2.5 Gorilla tent. 2 gallon pots with cloud coir coco and Jacks 321.5

Include tent specs, nutes, schedules, and things of that nature.

Thanks! According to the website it pulls 185w at the wall on full blast. I haven't plugged it into my killowatt yet.

Should be 192-195 at start and then drop to 188watts

Got my unit today in the mail and can confirm upon the excellent build quality. The light has heft to it and is larger in person than it seems in photos.

Very excited to be running mine as well!

6.5 days under the Photon and they seem to like this spectrum for veg. Filling in pretty good after the scrog screen massacre. I definitely foresee a silica supplement in my future to strengthen up the branches.

Flower day 1
These have been vegging under this light for 2 weeks and I have already defoliated 4 times so the plants definitely like this spectrum for veg, now it's flower time.

I'll keep it slightly dimmed for the next 2 weeks and then crank it up full blast.

NapalmD, looking forward to the updates on your flowering with these lights. I got 2 I'll be setting up to do a test run with grow journal soon enough.

CLU058 1825 is 50V-54V depending on drive current. Citizen has a calculator here
These are running around 1600mA and 52V

1825 is 5% more efficient than the CXB3590 CD.

Flower day 15
Filling in real nice.
Raised the light a few links on the chain. Not much more I can raise it, so hopefully the stretch is over. I'll crank it to full power next Saturday too when I start adding .5 of the blossom booster.

I put the screen down after 5 weeks of vegging due to it being a perpetual grow in different sized tents. While essentially not a "true" scrog, it's there to spread everything out and add support which I think it's doing a good job of.
