Got the room up, it's 10x9. Only running 1800w right now. I have a 1000w I'm not even using yet because I don't have anything else ready for flower. I gave 7 of my large plants to a friend because he needed them and I didn't think I would need them. Then out of the blue my roommate builds a fucking grow room. Bad timing on my part. I'd like to run 4000 or 6000 in there eventually.

I might be able to help you. I run vertical trees, in a trellis of my own design called a Super Silo. 2 kW to grow 7-12# of chronic...

Hope to make it. Anyone want to try silver 99(m) X bay 11(f) beans? have an extra pack from early dusting. Untested but probably good. MrNG (super silver haze x c99) X (GDP) Bay 11.
Bodhi appy clone supposedly ken won with. Let me know if you want to test. Like to see what they can do.
I put a couple to germ last night! I'll probably have to basically 12/12 fs them given the size of my tent, but I'll post pics once there's something to see, and we'll see how it goes.

Cheers!

I knew he was doing it. But a week ago I was using two tents, this week I am using a 10x10 room. He decided he wanted to do it immediately.
Ah, I see what you mean, because you gave the big plants away. Sorry, was a bit dense there... that does suck man : (

The Bay 11 is a good plant with indica in it to help keep the stretch down. The female Bay 11 didn't stretch much in flower.(green crack * tres dawg GC is skunk 1 x unknown indica and Tres Dog is Chem D X Double Dawg mostly indica). The C99 X SSH male was a tall sativa Christmas tree growth. If she stretches much after month 1 with long spacing between nodes then flower out sooner. If compact like the mom you might want to veg longer to get it to yield. Maybe clone and flower the clone to find out sex of plant. You should be able to tell by the stretch in month 2 and 3 if she will get big. If indica dom let it veg. Hope she turns out good. I'll put up picks of the parents for comparison.

Right on, man, thanks for the advice! They both grew super tails in the germ cups, and broke the surface a couple days after going in, but pretty vigorous so far! Pics to come soon too.

Cheers!

These are the seeds I got from Pepe the other day, which I've shorthanded Bay 101. Anyway, they're about 2 weeks old. The one in the 1g pot will be going into flower in a couple more weeks, once it's a bit more mature and I'm able to save a cut. Both look much more indica than I would have imagined, too, so well see what they become!

Cheers, and thanks again Pepe!

Looks good! I haven't been able to start the ones I got from Pepe. We are moving in the first part of October, just bought a house around the corner from where we're renting. Still looking for a job, but was too good of a deal to pass up. The owner of current place wants to show the house while we are still here so cant have a whole lot going at the moment. Will definitely start them ASAP once I get in to the new place along with some of the testers from homebrew.

The mom (Bay 11) is in flower now and the buds are swelling nicely. The structure on the flowers is nice and solid. I'll try and snap a couple pics for comparison. Always nice to see the parents so you might be able to isolate specific traits about the offspring. If the node spacing is close together then she is bay dom. You'll know at 2 ft tall. Looking good Jus Natural. Hope she's a girl.

Thanks for setting it up Merlin, was fun. Unfortunately, I think you left before homebrew arrived... what transgressed was really quite amazing and generous.

Looks like you guys had a great time. Someday the rest of the country will meet out in the open like this.

Someday...

FIGHT for it. It won't happen by itself. Now that Colorado has shown the way, you can't simply be laughed off the podium, so get up on it and speak in your hometown. This advice is meant for EVERYONE, EVERYWHERE- and it works just as well for other social change besides just pot legalization, lol

That sister (Silver 99), after being in the jar for a little bit, has that grapefruit smell from the cindy. The potency is actually real nice to boot.
Been sampling the treats in the jar and it does have a decent sativa effect along the lines of Jack Herer.
Hope the male passes those traits along for the hybrid. The Bay 11 sure does add a few nice traits. Structure for one. It will be interesting to see how the pheno goes.

Well, this one's definitely got to be Bay 11 dominant! Fat indica leaves and tight node spacing. I took a cut just after snapping this picture, and had to go lower than I wanted because the upper nodes were too close together to get my blade in there and still see.

Cheers!
