Early this season, I cut a clone 2 or 3 weeks after buds appeared to see what would happen. It was 1 small branch, with 1 tiny growth site. Now it's about 5.5 inches long.

I put it in some high N potting soil (all I had, not ideal obviously), under 12/12 (a little "smart start" t5) in a small bucket, used some rooting powder and have watered it maybe 5 times over a few months. It just never seemed to need it that bad.

I don't know if there is a scale for measuring density that people use for buds (just weight / size?), but no lie, I could break a window with this thing. It's a rock. It isnt done yet, but it's been interesting checking on it as it developed.

Find an RH calculator online and play with temperature vs humidity. Even adding only a few degrees of heat can make a surprising difference.
I have cracked the RH code.... ironically it looks 1 day too late. I was shutting off exhaust fan when heating thinking I was wasting heat. Counter intuitive. So if course last thing I try works like a charm. Temp. drops but humidity drops harder. Live and learn. 3 days from 7 weeks on sativa... Saturday might be it.

My RH gets into the 90's every night. The dew here is like a light rain. You walk through tall grass early in the morning, your feet and pants' legs get wet. It is hot still though.
Right. It's only considered a humid day in Florida when the fish swim at two or three feet... of altitude.

One of the RIU mods was giving advice to some Noobs about spraying. He said the rule of thumb is to never spray when the temp and RH add up to 140 or more. I told him, "so you are saying I can never spray?" Couldn't do it right this second, as it's 80F with 73% humidity. {and everyone is talking about what a nice clear day we are having}

I cut down the "freak of nature" bud. This was a tiny, single popcorn bud that I tried to clone for shits and gigs.

Some of the lower, super swollen parts were almost 75% amber. Don't want to grow sleeping medicine so she got the snip. 20171018_140041.jpg
It's like a rock. 3.5 inches long, and weighs 18g (wet obvi).

Can't wait to see it dry. Hanging now.
