That's a shame to see, man. They always seem to split where they've been topped before.

One of my larger females started to split mere inches up the stalk so I had to bust out the duct tape to hold her together. And it's only gonna get worse when they're heavy with flowers... :x

I use tomato cages or plastic trellis to keep my girl from being damaged from wind or storms.i have learned my lesson from years past. They really get heavy once the buds start to form.Prop that shit up!!!

Went back out to tie some up and finish feeding.
damn that sucks marco but mother nature got 2 of mine early on back in june..i have yarn tied to the main top of mine and in the middle and have them tied to thorn patch and pine trees..i try to plant mine where these type of natural structure a bush or tree is to help blend it in and also tie it up..it always works great for when they are flowering as well to keep them from falling over..all mine are between 6ft 5in-9 ft..now just hoping the buds pack on heavy..i been meaning to take some snap shots but evertime this week when i was gonna go and water them it would rain..good soaking rain here as well..hoping this will be the end of it for a few weeks..as long as it rains and sun comes out they will grow great as the sun UV rays kills mold spores..what sucks is when it rains for 2 or 3 days st8 with no sun..i will get some pics soon as i go there and im planning on going in the morning

Yeah every year new lessons learned :)
exactly..i been growing a long time and still learn something new ever year as well..at least u got a few more out tho so it wont hurt as bad if that was ur only one, which i have seen on other forums ppl only growing 1 plant( no ideal why one lol) is crazy bc there is something bound to happen in mother nature it seems..one my plants was took out when it was very young by the wind and other was took out by some weird looking worms that go up in the stalk from under the roots..they are white looking things..have u ever seen anything like that there? it could just be local pests but makes 3rd year in a row they have did this..i have now learned how to deal wit them..i have to pour gasoline in the hole b4 i transplant my plants in final home..i let it sit 5 mins or so and then burn that hole out and they dont come back..only reason i found this out was bc in the hole where my holy grail kush is now when i went to put my plant in that hole i dug down in the potting mix i had put there about 2 weeks b4 and they was already crawling around in that..had to take all that fresh out burn the hole put new in and then put plant in and its been fine now..only thing i can think of is they cant stand that smell..littler fuks has cost me over 5 grand lol when u count my whole loss as the female plant..
