Nice I use t5s to start my seedlings and for first few weeks of begging I bring my outdoor plants in at night especially my autoflowers to get extra light. What are you growing under the t5?

So temps are running high in my grow tent which is 3x3x6 I have a 440 CFL inline duct fan hooked up to air cooled good on 400 w hps hitch I though would do the job also have 3 fans circulating air inside the tent and a 20"box fan blowing fresh air in but still temps are not coming down. Is the 440 Cfm not enough for that size tent? My setups in my garage and is obviously hot since its summer. I have fan blowing air across the hood would sucking te air be better? Can't afford AC and 3 weeks into flower and worrying

IF you can, not only for climate control, but for security...I would TRY to make a place in a closet or basement inside if I were you...

or, AT least for the climate control situation, close up that garage and throw a large window box AC unit in the mix somehow...

just a couple thoughts

Thanks but my garage is all I can use rt now and I can't afford an AC I was just looking at mobile units but too much money and don't have window in my garage safety is no prob though. Do you think 440cfm is enough I did since my tent is small and it's only a 400w. I was thinking about getting a cheap duct fan and urging hole in wall to suck fresh air in during nit time when it's slightly cooler but it stays pretty warm where I live

Honestly a knee-jerk reaction but I really think it is more a cooling issue at this point than a CFM issue....but I AM a NOOB to all kinds of growing...

do you have an air-cooled hood for your 400w? one of the ones that sucks air over the bulb through a glass enclosure?

Are you venting hot exhaust air outside of the garage itself?

I'm venting my light and air from top of tent out thru my attic. I leave the end of the hood the fan isn't attaché to open so it pulls air from tent across the light
You have a semi open air cooled hood? You want that sealed for efficiency. Give us some pics.

No carbon filter and originally I had ducting on both ends took one side off and it's working better pulling air across the light and out of the tent. If it was sealed at one end wouldn't that make fan work too hard

Pulling the air is better than pushing it,but someone already asked the question are you venting it outside. Then I saw no charcoal so I hope not.

Your better off drawing air away from the room. If the air your drawing away is filling a room and then being used to cool it there isn't much gain.

Also air cooled hoods still give off heat, someone said to put the intake in the tent and that's the most logical since the light housing and light itself get hot and your only venting that and not the tent itself.

image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Been a bit since I've posted been busy got a few different grows going and it's taking up alotbof my time. As far as my Autoflower DWC grow goes I'm in week 5 of flower so getting close the Jack Herrer is supposed to take a total of around 90 days from seed to finish. I'm somewhere in the 70's as far as days and am totally maxed out with the height of my light unfortunately(Danm grow tents) which is causing issues especially heat wise. But my biggest concern is that my buds are really small in every sense of the word. And some f the white hairs are just starting to change to that reddish brown color the trichomes are still clear so I know they aren't done but their getting there and I just can't figure why my buds are lacking. I'm still giving all the same nutrients plus I added some big bud and bud candy from AN along with the regular regiment. Please if anybody has any input it be greatly appreciated
