Hi, this is my first grow.

I need some help, am i growing them right?

1) Solution A-B + MPK
Kelpak
Epsom Salt
ph 6.0 - 6.3

2) 4 X 1100 L cool white cfl's

3) They where on a 24/0 but have place them on a 12/12 since a want the new seedlings to grow better and not out of the box.

4) Its a bubbleponic setup.

They have been growing since the first of September and been going ok but there is a problem with potassium to much or to little?

And is there anything els i am not doing right?2012-11-06_10-23-54_230.jpg2012-11-06_10-23-35_887.jpg2012-11-06_10-23-16_165.jpg

1 - What are you talking about? You don't need that complicated stuff for feeding them.
2 - you only put plants on 12/12 if you want to flower them not to grow them.

First thanks for the reply...

Well what i gathered is that if you want to grow in a pc you need to grow 12/12 from the start. Since the plant double in size when in flowering stage.
To keep the plant low and that it does not out grow the box. Since the plant double in size when in flowering stage.

The nutrient is a A-B formula where the Mpk is to add in flowering is this not right for hydro or is there a simpler way?

And can you tell why is that the plant tips are turning yellow with rust spots on them?? is it a potassium def or burn?

I've used regular water soluble plant food , B1 Thrive , Super B+ , Insta Green , Kick Start in different amounts ie 1 feeding I give them only 1/8 strength of 20-20-20 with a bit of insta green or some times I give them some insta green with B1 Thrive or Super B+. When I asked the guy the difference between hydro nutes and what's better he told me straight up 20-20-20 and few others work just as good if not better then hydro nutes and so far using non hydro nutes in a hydro system works well for me.

Just use your base nutes a and b and you won't have a problem. Those formulas have everything your plant needs. Pot plants are no more picky ten any other garden plant. It's the extra shit you ate tossing in that throwing everything out of wack

Unless you are showing root problems or having environmental issues....then your problems are worse then you know. But regardless, simplifying your nutes will help
