Noise Pollution-What's really Legal?

I have a legal problem but surmise I would not find an Attorney to counsel me for any options. Options that I could not afford or attain with the money in my pocket. All laws are treated equal in our society. Issuses pertaining to the Bill of Rights are contested daily and produce endless litigation in themselves.

In the USA State in which I reside the law lists "Disturbing the Peace' as illegal. It's vague and lacks or suggests any way to document such occurrences. What is deemed illegal in the court may become a Judge's decision according to how it is interpreted. Last year the neighbor across the street got a stereo system to drive me out of my residence. How his Gangster Boom could be classified as esthetic in any way is up in the air. He so far has succeeded with his terrorist plot. Plus driving me to the brink of madness as well.

OK this is the Link I found offering a shady and possibly illegal solution. I have no idea if this would work as I have no experience with radios. There are no reviews stating if it would work elsewhere without reprieve. I have read how electric ballasts can interfere with cable TV. I have also heard CB radios back in 70s that interfered with radios playing in the area. I'm surmising it would work but could use an opinion on that as well. Sometimes one has to weigh the cost of litigation/hassle verses any other option so far. Believe me I went before the Mayor and Police Chief of our small town months ago. They do a lot but still it is not safe for me to live here and that's an understatement.

Just an update on this post. I am still afflicted with this noise problem. I still have no idea what recording people are playing to cause this. It's a low bass noise and occurs at any hour of the day. True I have a condition called low decibel tolerance which is hard to diagnose. Therefore I hear it when others don't. It's been 20 months since my first severe episode. I later found out my neighbor had a vengeance to drive me from my home. He succeeded. Since then I have moved five times since. I still hear it my present location but it is controlled and kept to a minimum. I don't suffer as much as I did in Texas. It is something people play in a recording as it's common but why anyone would have that in their home remains a mystery. Whole towns and areas are consumed with it. Location of the noise is complicated by the fact one can only hear inside. Bass noise resonates in walls and ceilings. The location always remains a mystery. Others suffer more than I do and is called Hyperacusis. Marijuana seems to be the only thing that truly helps the symptoms. The only thing available currently is CBD but seems to help a bit. All this is complicated by the fact there is no way to gain evidence medically. My Doctor said unless it becomes a physical problem they are helpless. Any one searching for information will find it difficult as well. YouTube helps. Others are afflicted with it and have no idea what is occurring and cannot diagnose it. It's a bigger problem than people realize and needs to be addressed not only medically but backed with laws to control and detect it.

Have you talked to a psychologist?
No, but I have had a CT done on my head. No serious problems exist. My medical doctor says nothing can be done until it becomes a physical problem that can detected with test. I know it to be a problem in the environment.

Curious to hear if you have any suggestions?
Greater controls must be engaged to detect and Police problem areas. The Govt has already spent a buck detecting heat signatures to harass people. They could do the same for these irritating Bass wavelengths of sound and harass them. Wonder what they would find in their house?

Most places already have 'disturbing the peace' laws.
Have you thought about moving?

Have you considered seeing a psychologist? Just to rule out anything.
