Guys, I need some good suggestions and tips. I plan on growing over the summer. the problem is that I'll have to move at the beginning of august (my lease expires). I defiantly dont have enough time to veg and flower them. I was thinkin to start with 12/12.
what are some problems that I might have by doing this????

or as I said. ANY TIPS ??????

are they from clones or seed?? if they are clones you can just go to 12/12 with no problem's you just wont harvest as much as you would from a full grown plant. If they are from seeds I have never done it, I have heard of people doing it but not sure what results they got, and you might end up with all males which would make the whole thing a waist of time

males pop up more often when the light schedule is closer to the 12/12 flowering time, honestly i think your just going to confuse the plant if you start that too early, and a confused plant is no good

The only problem really with going 12/12 from seed is that your yield will be considerably less than if you had some decent veg time. You can get as little as a g or 2 or I think I heard of someone, maybe randyrocket on this board, getting an ounce or so, depending on your strain, environment, and grow technique. there are no real tips to growing this way as its just basically a flowering period. you might want to give them a bit extra N to help and give them some growth.

I have been told that you cannot induce flowering until the plants have matured enough. I'm sure I was told the leafs should consist of a 7 leaf configuration first at least...although this is what I've heard.

i wanna start from seed. I've never tried ether, thats why i ask. I dont have time to give them enough veg time. I actually have no time at all. I wanna start from seed 4 or 5 plant with 12/12 lights. I hope i'll have few females.
Thats the biggest problem. I NEED to grow over the summer but I have only 2 months and a little bit until i have to move out. ...

So why don't you buy some Lowryder seeds? They autoflower, and have a germination to flowering time of 8-9 weeks. They produce on average around an ounce, and I have read that they can produce as much as 2.5 Oz.

I think it would be the best option considering they grow small, and the seeds are cheap...I haven't ever seen them or done them myself, but I am going to invest in some seeds very soon.

i have heard that as well a few times but i have seen grows where the person went 12/12 with the lights from day one and withing 8 weeks or so the plant was finished flowering and everything. now his yield was obviously much less than if he had veg time but he did get it save a few weeks time.

Go for it. 12/12 from seed is not bad. You may be pleasently surprised with the results...

I harvested two plants last night that were 12/12 from seed. One was one huge cola that weighed 2.5 oz's wet and the other plant i pinched that made two colas that weighed in pushing 1.5 oz each wet...

search out randyrockets 12/12 from seed thread. All the proof you'll need in there.

If you try it you'll find yourself questioning a lot of the naysayers reasons for not doing it pretty quickly
