Exactly! You get what you pay for. I've never gotten this same quality of weed at this price point. I've paid up to 200 for a half oz, people scolded and laughed at it until they smoke one with me. Then it was all "can I get that number".

My experience in Ontario is that 80%+ of the weed on OCS is more than I want to pay. In my preferred price range ($6.75-9/g in bulk let's say) there is cheap schwag that stays in stock (e.g. Plain Packaging Balanced) and there is stuff that is rarely in stock but has what I consider decent taste and THC content (17-27% THC products from brands like Northern Harvest, Liiv, WeedMD). And the Solei Free line of products for CBD, the oil version of which seems to be staying in stock so far.

At the launch I got an eighth of one expensive product on a whim (DNA Genetics Chocolate Fondue for $44), since my average price per gram on the rest of the order was not too bad. It had a unique taste but I wouldn't buy it again at that price, or anything else much over $10/g. I just don't think there is any good reason for weed to cost that much. I can get other great tasting weed on there for $8.xx/g, if not that particular taste experience.

Overall the LP weed I've received has pretty much universally been very dry. No problem in the vape but it smokes hot if not rehydrated somehow. Never received shake or "wtf is this shit" weed, though PP Balanced was a bit straggly and didn't taste good even vaped. I've seen pics of Edison weed that looked like straight up trash but I've never bought from that company. And then there is Redecan with their biological contaminant problems.
