OK... I'm new at trying indoor growing and started up in a old plastic toybox.. Cfls, a fan at the bottom and holes in the at the top to release the heat ,, I did 24hrs. Of light for 8 weeks , now I'm at 12on & 12off ... My problem is Ive started to run out of room ,, this is my first day of the fifth in flowering and they are at the top of the box & I have already tied down the branches I can... Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get anymore room without having to build a new box ?? I was thinking bout cutting the bottom out so the pots wouldn't take up space ...

Hi. You should have thought about that before... I guess there is only one decision in your situation, move it to another place or transplant.

Supercrop or scrog will help, but you'll do better if to move them in a bigger room.

Plants grow 2-3 times there size in flower.

Thnx for the replies.. I'll probly cut the bottom of the box out and make a stand for the box and that'll give me a foot r so of room from the top of the box ... This is my first time limited to space and trying a nside grow ... Guess it's about trial and era

If you can bend the main axial branch all the way over 180 degrees that should stop all vertical growth week 5 may not be doable

Well, I wasn't thinking of using the parabolic reflector till next run.
I was tinkering today and wanted to see if I COULD reconfigure it from the stock diameter of 42" to 28".
Piece of cake.
I bolted the top plate loosely to the reflector fins and then threaded some fishing line around ant through the bottom holes and cinched it up till I got my 28".
But all the overlaps were really different, so I added them all up and divided by 8 and got 4 5/8".
Drilled 8 holes and bolted it all up and I think this is gonna REALLY spread that light SO MUCH better.

Added BONUS... when I ordered this, it was supposed to be the cheap silver aluminum finish.
When I opened the box, I saw that I got the deluxe ($20 more expensive) WHITE version.
The white is supposed to be the superior reflect-ability.

Maybe I'll get this thing installed, with the lamp hanging vertical !
