Unfortanetly it's not that simple. And not blaming my regret on anyone but myself. Trying to save this dude from the same shit I deal with from a situation similar to this.

What we think to be right and wrong and reality are two worlds apart. Do I think growing a plant should be illegal no, but it is. Whether we think it is right or not doesn't change it legality. (Telling a cop you think there isn't anything wrong with weed isn't going to get you out of jail). I put myself at risk everyday legally, an know even if someone else puts the cops at my door steps, if I wasn't doing something illegal, they wouldn't be there in the first place.

The term "you made your bed, now sleep in it" comes to mind.

i don't disagree with that statement but im not talking about debating a cop im taking about morality... (laws...lmfao... don't get me started...) is it immoral to grow a plant? no, the state its self is a major problem and so is police so it kinda makes me biased but im a ancap... if your not hurting anyone your not breaking the law

the only reason people are arrested for marijuana is to feed the court and justice system.... the prison industry is being paid to keep people locked up

i think its immoral to have set standard of people you 'need'to have jailed

thats still implying all people who grow weed should be jailed... obviously thats wrong to think that... its not more rude to say that as it is to say 'ban gays from being wed'... its morally intrusive... thats how i think of it... people have no right to have any say on either matter besides those directly involved with being wed/growing of said plant

Morally, no there is nothing wrong with growing a plant. But then we have to bring in peoples personal morals on following or breaking laws.

i figured... considering you your self grow... only someone insane would think they belong in jail for doing something so basic and natural. no doubt its a 'chance/risk' type of thing... but so is driving and living in general... can't stop living tho!

Good way to look at it. No amount of jail time could stop my passion for the plant, enough common sense would tell me to stop growing though. Just like the op lol

Either move, or just buy less than an ounce from the local criminal drug seller. Buying pot supports criminals who may be involved in the drug cartels or growing in ecologically sensitive areas. A lot of bad Karma.

Or move! Get to some place that allows for medical MJ, or one of the Shangri-Las that allow for recreational use. We have plenty of room here in Oregon, and are in need of some professions.

Either way, it is not worth an extended stay at The Grey Bar Hotel for a little weed.

Haven't bought bud in 5 years my friend. Because you sell drugs doesn't make you part of a cartel. Not even close. If so, all the growers on here who sell their products, are cartel thugs. I know a bunch of people getting 100lbs+ a month. No cartel at all, just a collection if growers supplying a "weed broker"

and most bud is being grown in Colorado, cali, and Washington... almost none of it comes from mexico... and thats not counting the thousands of mini grows that aren't from those states or the medical communities in the med states

I agree with monkey grinder my own mom is a junkie and i have nothing to do with her. Told her to get help and get clean and mb we can have a relationship.
