Hey all, I haven't made that many wood pipes. Kinda planning on it, but I do make other smoking gear from exotic hardwoods. Here's some examples. Please feel free to showoff any wood pipes and accessories you've got or have your eye on.

First duggy modified with designs and pull out poker, ditched when cops came to a party

Second duggy modified with twisted wire inlay

First pipe made

Second pipe made

Some rolling trays

Dude your herb and kif scoops plus your rolling trays are fucking DOPE! :D

Even the first pipe you made is definitely excellent.

Keep that up man! Do you do that all with hand tools?

This is cool shit. Especially the tools. I don't know how I personally feel about smoking out of wood but I would definitely use nice wood tools. I bet they clean easily if polished right.

Thanks man. The first pipe was a serious noob project. I made it out of soft ass wood, stained it, and laquered it. Nothing inside the bowl, but still the soft wood still gave off a strong taste and was terrible to smoke from.
And no lots of power tools. The first few pieces I ever did were hand tools though, then I figured it would be wise to start investing some money in power tools. I have a lathe, bandsaw, drill press, Dremel and tons of bits, 1x30 sander, etc etc.

Well, I only taste it if I don't scrape it clean. But more of a burned lighter fluid taste. But that's only when I reload and reload without cleaning. Hahah, now I'm going to notice more. 30$ isn't bad. I think.

Yeah it really isn't too bad considering the beauty of it, there's a lot more expensive wood out there too. I've just always wondered if it was safe to have around heat, due to it being laminated with glues and stains and stuff. I think I'm definitely gonna pick some up on the next wood re-up

I have tryed carveing several ax handles before , They all came out functional but ugly , just to much fine detaled work for me to enjoy , I have a chunk of briar I got at a garage sale I plan on making something out of when I get time , I hope smaller will be easer to work with

Thats pretty nice but I dont see why you should use a 30 dollar block of wood if you have the probability of messing up cuz then you are out 30 bucks but that's just me

That's tight, thats something I should have done because I broke my old roommates axe handle 2 years ago. And yeah, to get a really nice finish it takes a lot of time and elbow grease. Just remember to use fresh sandpaper, re using the same piece over and over is what slows projects down.

I made a rough design for a wooden hobo bong a long time ago. I always wanted to make it, but couldn't find anyone to do the glass work.
