Nirvana's Blue Mystic in coco\perlite.

Strain: Nirvana's Blue Mystic
Growth: Large pole in coco.
Nutes: GHS one part total grow, HESI coco, Canna PK.
Yield: Haven't been totally harvested yet.
Bag Appeal: This bad had rot in it so pretty bad. However some buds got purple and foxtailing which is nice. I'd give it 3/5.
Smell: BAD. It was toasted to kill the mold which gave it a foul smell.
Taste: It wasn't cured and tasted like grass. Nothing special.
The High: Smoked half a doobie and after 5 minutes I was too high to drive. Had to drive however, but thats another story.
It was pretty numbing experience. Numb is the way to describe it.
Lasted a while and I went to sleep. I'd say it lasted around 3.5 hours. Which is good.

I wouldn't smoke it in the middle of the day.
Comments: I grew 8 seeds of this strain by now. Took cuttings and fully grown around 10 of thoes. Each seed gave a different plant.
Far from homogenus.
This one had budrot problems, which is nasty, but beside that grew very well.
It took a WHOLE LOT of fertilizers when I gave it (3ml Pk\L for the last 2 weeks) and liked it.
I have a bud from previous grow that was cured for 5 months. I didn't had rot, I tasted GREAT (fruity and smoked) and was damn powerfull.
I hope I'll cure this one long enough as well.

I don't have a picture of this specific bud so i'm posting a picture of the rest of the plant that was taken today.

I've ordered once from Pick and Mix and once I've bought from Greenhouse in Amsterdam.

From pick&mix I've bought a 10 pack of Nirvanas Blue Mystic (which I have 2 left of), 2 Nirvanas Papaya which turned out both female, 1 Sensi seeds kush which died when he sprouted and 1 Greenhouse feminized Arjans Haze #2 which I'd LOVE to grow again although it was a bitch to grow.

From greenhouse I bought a 5 mix pack of feminized seeds containing Cheese, Great white Shark, White Rhino, Lemon Skunk and Trainwreck.

The trainwreck died from a kink in the bottom of the main stem before I took any cuttings.
The lemon skunk died from overwatering and low root temp issue. I had a cut from it so I've saved the genetics, which are pretty owesome. Its very sensitive to cold temps in the root zone and wet feet sindrom.

Your experience with Blue Mystic is a lot like mine. I find it works pretty well as an evening smoke provided you don't have to do much. Can be kind of trippy in large quantities.

I've harvested some BM pre-maturely and it was trippy as fuck. Although far from potent.

This current one have been harvested at 55\45 milky\amber trich count which is pretty far for me. Its way more potent but much more sedative than trippy.

Thanks for the data. I think I harvested mine around 30% amber. I didn't find it particularly strong, more like average. Since I'm using it as a sleep aid, I'll let the next batch go another week or so.

Had much more potent strain in my room.

However, I do like it for some reason. So does my friends.

If your looking for some sleep aid grow it way past 30% amber. more like 60%. Great difference.

I've got one at 8 weeks now. Probably push it to 10 or 11 based on the last batch harvested at 9. I've got some LA con & LA Woman at the same point that I'll test at 9 for comparison.

I forgot to add, the crop I grew didn't have rot issues (live in a very dry climate). The cured smell and taste are really good but I'm hard pressed to find any berry characteristics. More earthy with asofoetida overtones and a little spicy. VERY smooth. I can see how mold could be an issue. The buds are very dense and dry slowly.

I usually grow with enough venting to prevent mold. this time my coco blue mystic, which yielded very nicely and grew very powerfull, had some mold as I placed it very close to the light for a while and the fan didn't reach it too well.

The other blue mystics i grow didn't had rot issues. all from the same mother.

I haven't found any blueberry in it. and it didn't reallly turned purple as it said it will. But its a nice strain anyway.

Looking good so far. As NC said, the phenotypes are all over the map, so do whatever you have to do to maximize lite penetration with your CFLs. Not a problem right now, but some of the phenos will stretch 3x in flower. Can be a pain to light up the plants sufficiently under CFLs if they get big.

Sounds like you should invest in a dehumidifier.
