Nirvana Seeds for first indoor grow?

Hey all,

Just wanted to know if anyone has done business with Nirvana Seeds recently?
They seem to be a company that people haven't had many problems with, not to mention they're pricing doesn't seem too overkill.

Not looking to do anything crazy, just 2-4 plants in a tent with mh/hps. The Black Jack strain sounds nice since I suffer badly from anxiety and panic attacks.

I keep reading threads about 4/20 specials. Is that really a thing with most seed sellers? If so, the timing couldn't be more perfect for my first grow, lol...

Thanks in advance!

Ive grown a few of their strains and they were pretty good for the price. The super skunk yielded well and was good smoke. The papaya was a weird plant to grow but the smoke was good, had little to no smell at all while growing.
For your first grow dude, nirvana is a good start as the price is good value for what you get. Good luck man and post up a journal when you get started so people can help you out :)
Oh yeah, I havent purchased direct from Nirvana, only through resellers.
Some reseller banks like attitude and seedsman have 420 deals. Not sure of any others though.

I've grown their AK48 multiple times, was the first strain I grown that wasn't bag seed. It is a great place to start for sure, I think they are a top notch company. The Black Jack is a little longer flowering then a lot of strains from what I have read. I believe it is 11-12 weeks if my memory serves me. Most of their others are 8-9 weeks. The AK48 had great yields, very potent sativa high, and flowered quickly (pulled at 50 days a few times from clone).

From my reading it looks like they have a fair number of crap strains, but they also have a few good ones. AK-48, Bubblelicious, Ice, Papaya, and Pure Power Plant seem to get the best reviews (I have packs of each of them waiting to try next grow. I got from Holi Seeds, they were cheaper than directly from Nirvana.)

Thank you for all the responses. A fairly even or slightly sativa leaning hybrid would be ideal for me, with CBD count being at least worth mentioning. Low grow odor would be fantastic as it's not exactly legal where I live.

ive had great plants w nirvana seeds, the misty no longer available was the best..but the ak48,northern lights, ice all good strains of course there are different phenios in a pack but its all good for the price..the only one i did not get a good phenio in was the aurora,, all were tall n weak but may have just got a bad batch..most of there seeds are good genetics in my expierience...most of their seeds are probably sensi crosses anyways..

I've been growing Ice and Master Kush from Nirvana for the last year and they're both good strains. Ice takes a LONG time to flower at around 12 weeks from flip, but everyone loves it. Its a good combo high, relaxing, but you can still get shit done on it.
Kush is total couchlock haha. I smoke that shit and I'm out for the count. That's cutting down at 10 weeks from flip BTW.

Have done business off and on with Nirvana for a few years, they are a reputable house in my opinion. They carry some some pretty stable old line stuff. And they have some stinkers like everyone else.
Blackjack is awful.
New York Power Diesel, can be good if you get the right phenom, does not seem like a stable breed yet. Tested at 21% THC
Master Kush, as stated above this one you can count on. Tested at 24%
Haze#1 very stable and very, very nice, my go to weed. Tested at 20%
Wonder Woman very stable, huge buds but awfully harsh.Tested 22%

Wow lab tests? Excellent. Thanks for the facts!

Edit: Most of those have at least one review that states very high odor production during the grow. Obviously I will mitigate that the best I can, but for safety's sake for my first grow I think I would trade a little potency for a lesser odor.

But I could be over-thinking the odor thing. A carbon scrubber will be used for sure, but obviously every time you open the tent to water and care for them... I imagine me freaking out that the whole place reeks of pot lol.

Odor can be completely eliminated with a properly sized fan/filter combo. Want to never worry about a smelly grow? Go buy a 50 lb sack of activated carbon and build a DIY scrubber with a 5 gallon bucket. I'm using a 240cfm fan exhausting a 4x8 tent into a 5 gallon scrubber and you can't smell the plants even standing in the same room. If you're extra super paranoid, you can run multiple fans and scrubbers in your grow area for pretty cheap. A 50 lb bag of carbon should make 3-4 carbon filters using 5 gallon buckets.

Good luck with your grow!

Do you have a link to a tutorial for this by chance?

Not sure if speak of dark net market's is frowned upon here, but there is someone listing Nirvana seeds on <redacted> site from the U.S. for less than what Nirvana charges. Sounds a bit sketchy eh?

Id pass on Nirvana seeds, their quality has steadily declined the last few yrs....you can now expect 80% terrible phenos.think lanky, scraggly, hermie plants with zero yield on most of their strains now sorry to say... A recommendation for good inexpensive seeds? Most strains by Bomb Seeds ....good and cheap.....white label white widow, awesome and inexpensive!

I have never heard of Bomb seeds before. The website and descriptions look good to me. Do they ship to the US? Will they scam me if I don't pay for the super deluxe stealth with guaranteed delivery?
