Nirvana Seeds + Bag seed. Second attempt at growing.

Mini update.

I now PH my water to 6.1 usually not too hard if i mix ALL of my chemicals for a "tea" but if i only mix caMG and water it becomes a numbers game. Good thing I keep notes on how to get it down easily.

Over all the plants look good. I am saddened the light shock put the back plant into full bloom and its fucking tiny (i told myself i should just kill it and start over) but im letting it finish out and i can see tons of white hairs on the top and its fuckin small lol..

The big one which was showing the camg def is perking up nicely. i think its skinny sativa is coming out bc the leaves were big and fat but after it entered flower it started making more skinnier pointy leaves.

Biggest smile comes from the brown spots stopping and a wzrd is right down the road. I was so happy when i saw a hydro store down the road, only problem is it was closed sunday and i had already ordered my 112 dollar order on amazon. could got my shit the same day for 2/3's that so i was sad but its cool.

So now i believe i have all of my issues handled. hopefully the 2 northern lights i just planted will pop and ill be able to run my tests thru them.

I am going to empty out and plant a blue mystic (because the name just says this shoulda been a main plant for me) and a bubblicious (because this is the only plant to turn purple under my old lights without some sort of nute def with my older watering system)

I have pictures which i will post later. its just lil shit like the ph meter finally giving me the 6.1 reading after 12 mins of up and down due to a minor issue.

and my new temps. oh boy. the temps in my grow room absolutely love this fucking light. oh and my electric bill is in heaven.

More to come later. I have 2 more days off from work so im trying to get as much productive shit done as possible before i get slammed again.

I love when i have good days with the ph'ing of water and good temps. Its usually cooler in there when im not around as i have to keep the room warmer when im around.

Also I like seeing the 77.7 temps when I am home lol.

So i just snapped fresh pics today of everything. So you can see my setup as "poor man" as it is.

I always wanted to be as cheap as i could with the lights so it was the first thing i upgraded when i figured out the more you spend the more you can potentially make.

Now that the shock has worn off (all) the plants hopefully the old ones will flower and die, then the new ones will look good and show me the last little I want to see from auto then its time to go to fem seeds.

Honestly I want to grow some of the stuff I see on videos from people like medgrower, mrtight, justintime2grow, etc.

Seeing as those guys have these lights I figure I will be getting closer to those super frost plants. Even if they arent huge given my grow space, id just like to stop fucking up when it comes to little shit like ph, nutes, and get some beastly looking bitches.

So i upgraded the light (cant wait till i can get another.. that 300x3 looks pretty bitchin and would probably cover the area i wanna add for my final plan until i move) upgraded my potting habits and small pots, bigger pots seem to do the trick for the size issue, now its just coming down to watering them properly with nutes.

No nutes when they're small. light nutes when they do actually grow to a size where they need it and take it from there.

less is better until the plants ask for more, right? or at least thats my spin on it.

Oh mah gerd, the hairs are turning purple. Pics and a write up soon. probably tuesday if im being lazy due to work.

I am stoked about the purple hairs though. it's looking good!

And for a little added clarity i removed the plant from the area and used soft white to examine and confirm purple.

Plants are doing some weird shit.. Im going to have to say screw it and flush them because i know that the plant is merely sapping all the Nitrogen outta the leaves to cause this funny yellow / purple color.

I am however done with auto flowers. Given that auto flowers have like 3 traits. indica, sativa, and rud whatever u spell it as. after i finally did some research it seems ive been growing sativas. These arent really popular for couch lock, and are typically for people who want to be social. the smoke seen here is all about zombies and sleeping off pain, thus i need an indica. So i decide to drop 1 Aurora indica seed into a cup of water for 24 hrs to get my root then move forward.

I have the last two auto flower seeds beginning to flower. it is week 5 i believe possibly less. One see is Northern lights auto, the other i believe is bubblicious. it COULD be a short rider but i doubt it, this plant does NOT look hybrid and looks purely indica. (fat ass leaves)

I believe my biggest issue came from the fact that i thought the plants indica (stoney sleep) and they werent.

The northern lights plant is skinny like its a sativa which makes me sad. its apparent that in hybrid plants either or trait can emerge, and apparently since my luck is shit (and it makes sense when i smoke it seeing as it makes me all happy and energetic) that my previous harvests excluding the one short rider i liked (lol.) have all been sativa.

So now i have to make sure everything is indica. I will let all (5) autos finish. and then its on to indica.

having indica on hand will remove my sleep problem, and hopefully earn me some extra cash to pay back the expenses of this learning experience.

So my plants are to finish the 5 autos currently in the room. 3 of the autos are almost done. the one auto maybe indica (yes fucking please.) i do believe the other two are sativa, as they are tall as fuck, lanky, and skinny. where as the one short rider from maybe light shock or whatever, is terribly tiny in size yet its fat ass buds say something.

Im gonna finally post pics. also these plants are purpling up quite well.

But the main reason i believe in my conclusion due to research is that if i smoke enough of my home grown, it'll put me to sleep. but i need to vape ALOT of it, where as with indica, id need to vape a tiny bit.

Homework complete. Lesson learned. Auto flowers will be finished until i fix all the problems ive caused.

Sorry, not trying to be a dick, but dude kept giving you pointers and you just ignore him but he was right about not needing 5 gal pot for an auto.

Dates are a great thing. Look at them..

Wasting dirt would be throwing it out after a plant is harvested, the dirt us constantly used, once depleted of ALL its nutes, it is then used on venus fly traps.

We all have our systems, some things work for one person and wont work with another.

I constantly change things in my grow and dont even bother posting till days, weeks, months later, please check the dates of posts before going on about this or that.

Finally, i wanted to experiment with auto flowers to see just what i could do given certain situations. Auto flowers are small and skinny plants, It's nice that you " have seen better autos " and all but if you feel i dont care for others advise, why repeat the same thing? In conclusion I am going to do what I want to do, not what YOU "tell" me to do.

Im finished with auto flowers mainly because the fan leaves have always been freakishly small on the strains i get exclusing bubblicious and NL

I am doing a regular fem seed now, thus all the bullshit about autos is just that, but again, people apparently cant understand me when im stoned

I am going to post the rest of my photos, modifications, and discoveries. This journal has been for the most part data and a note pad for me to reflect back on.

I feel i did well for a novice on autos as they are a perfectionist plant. I will revisit them once I move and get a larger grow space because I know for a fact these things can get giantly big unless the ppl who plant the auto flower seed are all just too stoned to realise it was a different seed.

In the end no harm no foul. I like my results, I like the smoke i got from some of the plants, and the experience made it so i can EASILY DO REG seeds, which is what I wanted since if i mess up with those I can just continue veg and fix the problem, however as i concluded, reg seed is easier and my aurora seed is fine, happy and getting big as fuck waiting to be topped and bent. just giving it more time till its a size i like.

And finally, I have been cursed with quite a few Sativa plants. They are great and they stay skinny, they give you positive smoke for when you need to do work. I cant wait for fully dominant indica plants and those fat flipping leaves, even though im not growing for foliage. I figured out my light problem i figured out the bug problem, and my buds are dense fat, and hard on the plant. I like how the plants turned out even WITH all my fuck ups.

alot of the posters on here dont realise how much fuck ups hurt auto flowers.

When i harvest the half HPS half LED plant, ill let you know how it goes, its getting a second layer of crystals which i've never seen happen. I thought it was mold so i broke out the microscope to examine.

Also, I've started adding raw honey and organic molasses and not the shit from ebay. within just this week the crystal production has TRIPLED which means something in my nute line is starting to work with the lights and everything else (which is what i wanted to see before i grew a reg seed) yeah i know i do shit backwards but hey thats how it goes when im stoned lol. I am going to keep a close eye on the plants. I do believe the differences im noticing is because im using a pretty nice and fairly expensive full spect LED and not the shitty HPS that were barely putting off 300 W

Just bare with my idiocies a while longer till we get to what we're actually here for, the real seeds!

Which reminds me and i need to note: All of my autos up to this point were grown with BLOOM SPECTRUM LIGHT. Also, I had the LED too close which did something to shock the plants and once shock wore off they are what you saw

you live you learn. I am excited about the aurora reg fem seed. I am going to clone it and get some big nugs.

Currently, everything is in order.

I left the 2 lanky autos in there under 18/6 to see if they would crystal up. Thats also something i had no clue of. Plants need a dark cycle otherwise it gives off less bud.

I wish someone woulda told me thats part of the reason why reg seeds dont suck as much when u see the harvest results.

They get a stiff 12/12, autos get very little dark my autos were getting 0-4 hours of dark a day.

I learned the hard way with autos that no dark period gets you less bud and crystal, my last 2 autos that are late flower are proof.

The aurora indica plant is happy. I will probably order a cheapy ppm meter on payday and some other stuff.

Im slowly learning how to care for and regenerate plants. I'm happy with my progress. I do believe this reg plant will be good. and im looking forward to have medical grade smoke since i know for a fact there is little to no medical smoke here.

Going to top and replant seedling soon. It shall hit the 21 day mark in 3 days. Its going to need a bigger home at this rate of growth. I dont want to stunt it.

As i finish out my auto flower and bag seed thread. I think ill open a new one to take more notes.

I feel like i've learned alot from auto flowers. Im going to post the pictures i've taken of the last autos now. There are 4 plants in the room. 3 are autos. 2 are finishing up, one is just starting to produce sugar.

I took some "glamor" shots this time around so people who do randomly read this realize that while i choose my own path, i am not an idiot. Sure i can be wasteful at times, for my own reasons (rootball needing room to expand, thus the more roots i get the more of a frosty bitch i get) thus the dominant reason for my auto flowers being in buckets.

Once i finally found a real root stimulator, booster, and sillicon (ill post pictures of my final simple man nute line) if anyone knows a good bloom booster, feel free to comment.

The one auto is bud down to the rootball. Literally. I just wish i could have put it closer to the light / caused it to stretch but KEEP THE SAME STRUCTURE.

My biggest old issue was getting the plant to have a dense budding structure, then getting autoflower to retain leaves (prolong the timed death) to beyond 19 weeks to see if i could get sugar.

One plant in the corner plus the one chopped down today tells me u can keep an autoflower from dying completely. because the one still in the closet is around 20 weeks STILL PRODUCING CRYSTAL but it was stunted so thats why its taken so gd long.

There are so many factors to be wrong about, ill just shut the fuck up and post the pics now.

This one plant is called Xena because it clearly came back and smited everything previously grown in my closet. Im sure you can figure out which plant im talking about. For an auto, that strain is a keeper. Hopefully i find the 2-3 misplaced seeds here, otherwise ill redo it after i find a medi strain i like because this up right leg pain makes it so that i dont want to go to work period. I need to find something to get rid of it..
