Haven't updated in a min. plants will be 1 month into flower on Thursday!!! Things r starting to get frosty now. Smell so far is pretty neutral. Kinda disappointed about that. I figured with the cross they'd be reeking by now, but still got a ways to go. Vertical growth has slowed greatly and bud development is in full swing. I do seem to be suffering from a calcium deficiency so im gonna up my cal mag doses this week. Fox farms is really good soil, but it defiantly needs to be further amended with some DL. It seems i have 2 diff pheno's. My one girl only produced 3 tops, but she is soooooo dense. Extremely tight node spacing. My other girl produced many tops, but isnt as compact as the other, still very dense though. Nirvana recommends a 12 week flower on these babies, but i think they'll finish up around 9-10 weeks. what ya'll think so far?? Have done Bubbleicious and White Castle. Both do very well whenn topped, great yielders. Bubblelicious been working with for years, and usuall has 3 major phenos all very different but nice huge buds with a nice combo of dense and fluffy. Pheno one smells like candy, phenoo two smells skunky/candy and the third getts almost a cat pissy smell. Some being more indica dom while others more sativa dom. All tasted great! 8-10 flower. And loved the nutes! The White Castle batch has 2 major phenos, one sweet smelling and the other has a spicey hash smell. Dense Nugs, taste amazing. Long flower 10-12 week. Will get some pics u if anyone wants a look!

Do you start counting flower time the first day you switch to 12/12 or do you start your count when you start to see pistol formation?

I start as counting flower from the moment they enter 12/12, i believe it was right around a week an a half before they showed sex. They'll be 5 months into flower tomorrow, and starting to smell funky!!

I've had nothing but issues when trying to start White Castle but I've got my last seed going now. Wish me luck.
Had two Blackberries going but one just never grew right and her branches were VERY close together.
Same thing with my two Royal Flushes one is going okay but the other has very close branches.
My bubblelicious has been great from the start.
The two Chrystals I started were also different types because the one type is much more sensitive to nutes.
The one NYPD I have was having issues and seems very sensitive to nutes but I'm slowly bringing her back to life.

Take in account though that I was having heat stress issues and ph problems when I first setup my new green room.
And I'm slowly switching from Ocean Forrest soil to Canna Coco when I do pots.
I'm also doing an ebb and flow setup too.
And finally I've oredered Papaya once again. After dealing with these issues I wanted a strain that I've done before so I know what to expect. Plus Papaya was just too dam good especially in my ebb and flow setup.

Sorry about your luck bro. My WC's are looking fucking bomb. I'll post some pics a while later.

What grow medium are you using and what nutes for them? I've found at least so far that WC is very sensitive to nutes.

I'm using a 50/50 mix of ocean forest/happy frog and using general organics lineup of nutes. I've had no issues with nute burn and they seem to be fairly heavy feeders, but your running hydro, so i dont know. Just snapped these a bit ago. day 41 of flower!!!

That shit looks amazing I swear my last seed better work lol. But I'm not doing WC in hydro at all I've only tried it in soil. With this last seed of the bunch I put her in Canna Coco though and I'm using the Canna Coco nutes.

I grow in soil so I cannot comment on your methods, but if you are determined to use Nirvana, I had great results years ago with master kush. very uniform, scrog'ed, excellent yield, very easy to grow, and a decent smoke. I actually really enjoyed it and it is up there with some of the more expensive and highly regarded strains that I have grown and smoked. best of luck to you with your grow!

A lot of people talk down about nirvana but I've found three super nice phenos that were top notch. Their Ice, Top 44 and their pure power plant gave me one incredible plant of each. The Ice was a monster and could withstand 90 degree temps and still produce tight resinous buds, and the PPP had one of the best taste and highs I've came across and the top 44 was fast fruity and potent. And each of these three plants beat out several top dollar strains at the time, this was back between 2004-2008, but better than THseed's Hog and sensi's seeds jack herer, Dutch Passion's skunk#1. The hog was $250-280ish for the ten beans and the sensi jack was $320ish for the 10 beans, circa 2003-04, while the two ten packs of ice and PPP was a mere $45ish. While the hog, skunk#1 and jack were all nice, none were as good tasting and had no advantage over the nirvana strains besides costing over a hundred or two, more dollars.

I haven't tried nirvana in a while so not sure if it's just as legit but I'm sure it is. Marketing is usually what people pay for when spending top dollar. The market nowadays is over saturated with "breeders" who don't even test their own shit. "Hey, I made a bunch of beans. Who wants to grow them out and tell me how they do?" Fuck that. If you want to be a breeder, then buy some god damn land, build a green house and do it yourself.
