Whatsup RIU!?

Here's the deal, I'm going to be planting 2 NYPD fem and 2 ICE fem here shortly, and in about a month, take clones of the tops of the healthiest of each strain to end up with 6 total. They will all be LST but will keep things unique to each plant.

I will starting the seeds in FF Happy Frog and eventually transplanting into FFOF using the Fox Farm trio and maybe some of their other nutes if i can afford them. I will start germination of the known strains around march 20th to hope for a april fools sprout but in the meantime i am going to start some of the unknown freebies in some soil i used last season that has been kinda composting over winter. Stick around if interested, I will be posting updates about once a week. Happy Growing :weed:

Quick update:
Just planted 2 ICE and 2 NYPD yesterday. I jumped the gun a bit because its starting to get into the 90's in my area and barely gets below 65 at night with no signs of getting any colder.. I have the pots in a semi shaded area for the heat right now until i get the time to figure something out as far as full time sun protection goes.
Im still trying to make up my mind about planting in the ground or using smart pots. Anybody have a clever way to plant in the ground yet still have a way to remove plants from the hole without really disturbing the roots?

One of the two reg seeds just barely broke soil today and the cotyledons look almost as white as the tap root although they aren't fully opened yet.
I'll take pictures a little later when that seedling opens up a bit more and have something worth showing

Still waiting for the beans to break soil, but the one reg that did sprout was doing alright for the heat on monday and looking good but yesterday it got fried and when I got home it was all wilted.. temps are supposed to be in the mid 70s all week so I'm praying to the ganja gods that it recovers but I doubt it. I'll keep updates as soon as the others sprout

Temperature might be fine, but the sun isn't out long enough to keep plants in veg so they might start flowering if you put them outside before May.

Iell they way I look at it, they will be mature enough to flower around may and by that time the daylight will be long enough to keep them in veg. If not, I will take them inside to finish the flowering and start new outdoor seeds. I've never had an issue with seeds flowering when put out late March, early April but I have had clones flower on me

The little regular unknown seedling bounced back today after being totally wilted and the stem looked black and shriveled yesterday but she pulled through so from now on, im going to pay close attention to the weather while they are so young. Heres a pic of how it that i will count as day 1 veg

Both ICE seeds sprouted and are just barely poking through and 1 NYPD has showed me love as well, I've never had seeds pop in less than 5 days before like this so I am pretty happy with Nirvana genetics I must say.

Ended up with 2 NYPD and 1 ICE. The other ice got eaten by something

I just started on a rubbermaid grow box and just finished the light setup and I have that mounted in my closet so i can bring them in at night. These plants are going to become indoor once i finish the box but i will keep the reg outside to finish out if its female.

Here are my girls at 10 days since sprout, they are all doing really well except im having a small bug problem that i think are fungus gnats..

First pic is of the freebie that sprouted first and somehow got topped before anything ever happened cause the true leaves never came out and now its starting to grow shoots straight from the cotyledons.
Second is of NYPD
Third is ICE, the leaves are already coming out pretty wide on this one.

Anyone have any idea on the little black bugs? should i start spraying with neem this early on or no? ive never had to deal with insects so early in veg like this, whats best for these seedlings?
