Next up . . . White Widow

Ok!

So I ordered some White Widow seeds and expect that in a few weeks I will be ready to take the lessons learned from my 'Newbie Experiment' and grow some decent plants.

I went with the feminized seeds from Nirvana and will be using the SMB guide 'Buds for Less' with CFLs. It will be just enough supplies for three plants.

Question: how long will seeds keep? If I get 5 from Nirvana but only want to grow three, can I hold on to the other ones indefinitely? Or do I have to grow all of them upon receipt?

I probably have enough space to grow all five at once, but I would need to build another light fixture and purchase some more CFLs.

I also plan on using the FoxFarm soils and 3 gal containers from the Hydro shop near me.

Hello my friend. I recently planted some seeds that I had been holding onto for almost 4 years with a 100% germination rate (I only planted 10). If you keep them in a cool, dry, and dark place they should last for quite a while. However seeds do lose viability with time. Keep them out of the light and don't let them get wet and they should be fine. Good luck.

Exactly what I was hoping! Thanks!
