Mattdash-

We will have to talk offline for sure. I highly considered movers and only have a few problems with them. First being the added weight to the building we are renting allows for no more weight to be hung from the rafters as it's a pole building on concrete slab with the added cost being second. Grew in residential locations prior to this with smaller led panels and was pleased with the results.

Feel free to message me

Will Be glad to talk it up brother, tomorrow will be my first free time and even then only a few hours after 5 central. I see a dilemma with the weight problem man thats sucking it up, luckily if attached correctly the rails will increase the strength of the ceiling. (I build things for a living :D )
P.S. I have no clue how to private message some one!

I appreciate all the suggestions ladies and gents. This is my first serious grow and with a grow space covering over 5,000 square feet with an 8-10k operating cost a month, i'm open to any and all suggestions. Thats the great thing about this community! Was a botany minor in college and have help from old school associates as of now. Looking to hire a hardworking and trustworthy team in the next few months. Until then, i'll be diving into forums, book, magazines, coco with 120% vengeance!

Hot Diggity-
I was able to make some wise real estate choices which paid for the space and some start up costs. We are covered as far as financials are concerned but will fine tune all of our rooms and establish a base line so margins can be cut. We are in the works for additional manpower as well as lowering our carbon footprint via utilities and bulk organic nutes. I have never run an operation of this size and will need knowledgeable support to ensure we succeed. Have mothers and clones racks full at an offsite that will transition into this facility. Hope that answered a few questions. Cheers!

Those questions were not intended to be too personal and if they were, I apologize. I just curious how much capital an operation of this size requires is all. What you're doing is super cool and I can't wait to see it spring to life.

Id say around 120k for everything. Getting a larger transformer was an expensive pain in the ass.No worries at all brother.

Damn man that is impressive! The only thing that worries me about going that big is if you have a catastrophic failure thats a ton of $ down the drain.

I feel that is everyone's worst fear. Since starting on this venture, it always seemed like a huge task but I have had support of a lot of great people. I was injured some years ago on a deployment in the middle east and definitely look at life with a different attitude. I have no probably taking a risk as I won't have ever regretted not doing it. Plus the rooms will smell amazing, what's not to love?

No doubt. I know I would be apprehensive since I work full time and have a part time business. A grow that large id be quitting everything. Where is it located? CA? Once that whole room is in flower that would be a heavenly site to see!! Best of luck my man.

It would be badass to see a scrog grow in that room. HINT HINT :)

I'm in the works for a scrog design as we speak. Since all my light are at a fixed height, I intend to mount eye hooks in the corners of the rooms and build large pvc squares with netting that allow me to raise and lower the canopy height with heavy duty ratchets. Will most likely build large, raised beds on caster wheels which will hold four to seven plants in one bed versus separate containers. We will see but have lots of work no matter what.

Evening Everyone,

Setting up my new operation and we are almost live. This is one of three flower rooms i'm running. Full closed loop system with adjust a wing 1000 waters. Sitting at 60 watts per square foot with a fixed height of around 8 foot on the ceiling. Fire foamed and aluminum taped all the poly walls shut so nothing gets in or out. Mini splits run off of my iPhone or a master controller to stabilize the temp (75-78F) along with the dehumidifiers. Plumbed the 3000lb CO2 tank into each room which will allow a 1200-1500ppm concentration to fill in about 5 minutes. Only my second setup, still have lots to do but will post some updates shortly.

Cheers!
How do you run the mini spkit off your Iphone?

To help with keeping heat out of the adjust a wings buy small desk fans from target. Theyr like 7.99$. You can unscrew the stand bend it a little bit, hook it around the adjust a wing and have it blow across the bulb. Works super well.

Adower PLC card tied to an app a good friend developed. Plug and play off my phone as long as I have a wifi connection.
Can you set me up with that? Can you be away from the minisplit like a other city and as long as you have WiFi turn it off and on?
