Hey guys,

Intrigued by the bubbleponics set up, I invested in a set up for 2 buckets. They have a drip system, air stones, and are running on a 4-way sun leaves air pump that works great. The current Ph is about 6.5-7.0 and the PPM of 1 of the plants is 227, while the other one is at about 100. I germinated the seeds and threw them into the system from seedling, I haven't added much to the ppm, and I changed my reservoirs the day before yesterday hoping to see some kind of change, but the plants remain small with little growth. I have attached a couple pics, any help is welcome! Thanks!

did you use rockwool or some other type of seed starter, and also you want to keep your ph on the low side of the scale with 5.8 being optimal.Im on my first dwc grow myself and Im learning as I go.I would start them in rockwool under flouro. lights for the first 2 weeks or so, when you get roots growing out the bottom of the rockwool then I would put them in the pots with your grow rocks, also if you use rockwool soak it in ph adjusted water for a few hours then shake off the excess water and drop your germinated seeds into the cubes, also its best to keep them in a warm spot or use a seedling heat mat if you have 1. peace and grow on

I've purchased some Ph Down, changed out the reservoirs and am now using tap water instead of reverse osmosis water after reading up on the pro's and con's. After about 5 hours I can already see a difference in one of the 2 plants.

@Snocat - I germinated the seeds and dropped them straight into the clay pebbles. Initially they took off for the first 2 days, then I saw stunted growth. In the future, I will go with the rockwool method.

yea buddy the rockwool is the way to go,mainly I think because it holds some moisture in it and that helps until the roots start coming out and reaching for the water, and it gives the the germinated seed some protection, kind of like its own little cacoon.as far as water I use tap water and sometimes I dont even let it sit so the chlorine can evaperate out of it,but my tap water is fairly good I guess compared to what Iv read.I use a control wizzard dipstick and my readings start at 200 ppm or 0.04 ec and I get no reading on tap water, but I do have to fight the ph but I think theres ph buffers in my tap water but not sure good luck peace and grow on
